Looks like my undercover investigation is showing its results now, human is always leaving trace from their actions, and we vampire always could figure it out. One of Imperial Army’s has made his way into Dietrich town and hiding between us, but now I could catch him.

As one of Vampire’s elites, I will show them that human and vampire will be not be allies until we die. Julian Brent, the 9th Imperial General who wields lighting and undefeatable barrier magic skills, is doing his undercover mission alone in my town. I don’t get why he doing this alone.

But the important part is, she hurt my lovely daughter!!! MY ONLY DAUGHTER!! HE HAS TO PAY FOR WHAT HE DID!

I know I’m not position to say this since I punched her in the stomach before, but that time I left with no options instead to fight her and her friend head on. Brent shot multiple lighting beams while flying to chase Edin. Edin shoot back with his wind manipulation magic by clicking his fingers and evaded some of the beams.

I will get my revenge by killing this person. He killed my whole team’s member in the battlefield three years ago. I can’t believe he has nice life and daughter after did all of those things before. I CAN’T FORGIVE HIM! I WILL KILL HIM!

Brent dashed to Edin’s presence, and swing his hand wrapped with lighting ray that spilled another lighting beams. Edin used his cloak to defend himself from the attacks, and retaliate with the cloak as well. The cloak slapped Brent’s face, but he didn’t want to back off and stormed him with his rays and hit Edin’s whole body.

Edin fell to the ground.”Uuhh.. That’s hurt”, he said.

“Play time is over! Oszkar’s Curse Third Curse! Activated!”, Brent shouted and chanted a magic skill.

Suddenly, Edin’s body is tied forcefully by something cannot be seen by naked eyes. Edin struggled to get off but the force getting stronger to hold his movement.

“This?!”, Edin suprised.

“What?! Oszkar’s Curse?! No way!”, Rotania shouted with panic face.

“What is that?”, everyone asked her and tilted their heads.

“Cursed magic skills, it is strictly prohibited to be used because it is a dark magic. That magic provides great power, but asking something really precious as the payment”, she explained.

“What is the payment?”, Claude asked.

“Memories, family curse scar, the worst is soul”, she added.

“Looks like your dad is groaning like crazy now, should we help him now?”, Richard asked us in flat tone.

I have drained half of my power thanks to those kids. I didn’t expect she could smack me with that destructive power, so I have to activate my barrier skill since beginning. That no longer useful pawn also could drew his power more than I locked before that I had to use my real offensive power. Moreover, Exxone penetrated my passive barrier skill, I’m quite worn out right now. I will kill Edin with my remaining mana and get out from here and get back to Imperial’s HQ since I’m no longer could stay here. Suddenly, I felt someone behind my back appeared, I tried to dodge but he stabbed my right hand before I could dodge it successfully, I was extremely startled. How I didn’t noticed that guy?!.

Richard was right behind me with his cold expression and swings his spear really fast numerous times. I was really surprised that I couldn’t dodge his attacks well. I channeled rays on my left hand shoot it to his face, but he blinked. I felt another person dashed from my beneath. It was Exxone, he flew with his drop kick from ground, I evaded his attack, but explosions triggered after he flew pasted me. I bounced off because of the damages.

“STOP TO INTERFERE ME!”, I shouted.

How could vampire’s new generation could be this good at battle? They are really different with Edin who is narrow-minded and always relied with his vampiric power. The more I pressed them, the stronger they grow and improved themselves with their magic power.

I realized Richard blinked and came out to my face and swing his spear.

“True Slash!!”, Richard shouted while casted a lighting magic slash power.

I evade that attack easily and use my left hand smacked his upper body with my lighting magic power and send him off to ground.

Exxone dashed to my right side and punched my right cheek. That was really painful , I could feel burning fire on my face.

“ONE!”, Exxone shouted and punched me.

Exxone released after-effect explosion fire in the air after punched me and I fell to the ground.

That is it. I will kill him first.

Brent moved the curse he placed on Edin to Exxone, then Exxone screamed in pain because of the sudden pressure he got from the curse.

“Oaghh, what?! Is this?!”, Exxone screamed in pain and passed out.

“Uuhkk.. The curse lifted?”, Edin noticed the curse has been lifted.

Rotania and Claude watched everything noticed what happened.

“He moved the curse to Exxone! He is going to kill himself and Exxone!”, Rotania shouted in panic tone.

“I can’t let that happen!”, Edin blasted himself towards Brent.

Brent lifts his injured right hand and make Edin stop by force using another curse skill effect. The effect is also to stop anything as the caster wants. Also, with greater value to sacrifice.

“Wha? You are insane! You will die for NOTHING!”, Edin screamed to Brent.

“At least I could kill all of you and youngsters that hold incredible powers for vampire’s race”, Brent replied calmly.

Richard got up after passed out because Brent’s attack before.

“What happenend?”, he clueless.

“Just use your strongest power!! Exxone will die!!”, Claude and Rotania shouted at him.

“Heh, finally my main stage of performance? Okay, I will make that good-for-nothing bastard that always insult me-”, he grinned and took his offensive position.

“JUST DO IT!”, THEY RETORTED, THEY CAN’T HOLD IT.

 “Fuu.. haa.. Lighthing..Give me power”, he chanted and makes dazzling white light that covered him.

He points his spear with his right hand and the dazzling light that covered him is dazzling even brighter.

“GO!”, he dashed one hundred kilometers per hour and moved straight into Brent’s presence.

“What? I can’t stop him in time!”, Brent suprised seeing him.

Richard crashed himself to Brent and lighting explosion triggered.

Exxone woke and find himself in an empty bright room. He confused because just now he still in the battle.

Black flared fire spirit is appeared in front of him.

“Before you say anything, I know this will happen like previous story I read, so who are you? Will you lend me your power?”, Exxone said that without any manner and raised his right hand to ask something with insolent face.

“What? How? How could you know that? Nevermind”, the black fire spirit is stunned after hearing Exxone words like he read his mind.

“I’m Oszkar, I’m a vampire like you, maybe I was the first being that could use cursed spell that known as Oszkar’s Curse in this era, I’m just a temporary spirit that summoned from caster magic power, I will vanish in few minutes”, he explained.

“Huahh... Then? Will you lend your power or not? If not, I will go and help my friends now, you know”, Exxone yawned and retorted.

“Huaahaha... It has been a long time that I talked with a scum like you! Actually I’m quite interested with your inner power, so I don’t want to kill you, especially you are vampire too. Instead, I will lend you my power and kill that jackass that summoned me, he doesn’t know the value of this spell. Go! Kill that bastard!”, the black fire spirit surround Exxone with his power.

BLAARR!! Richard blasted Brent with his ultimate move and back off to see the result.

He exploded Brent and his surroundings into three meters-depth curved ground with seven meters diameters. Edin fall of to the ground after the explosion because Brent is no longer holding him.

“That..That was a great skill you have there, boy!”, Edin praised Richard.

“Thanks to that, I have used all of my mana and physic power, let’ see how it goes”, Richard kneel on one leg. “The more mana I got, the stronger power that will come out and the faster I move”, he explained.

Suddenly, behind the fog after the explosion, a thin lighting come out and grabbed everyone’s neck, everyone startled.

“No...way”, Richard couldn’t believe what is happening.

The fog getting thinner, Brent came out and bleeding out from his head until toes, his barrier still visible but cracked quite bad.

“Hah.. Hahh.. Hahh..”, he panted. He used up almost his mana to defend himself and almost lost his control to use the curse.

“Die!”, he charged his lighting towards everyone.

Everyone gave up. I know you guys already guess what will happen.

Exxone got up and break the invisible ties and open his eyes. He raised his right hand vertically towards Brent.

“Burn to Ash”, he summoned channeling magic circle without chanting any spell.

A black magical ring appeared under Brent’s feet and channeling giant black fire.

“WUOOSHHH!!”, the black fire ate him.

“This won’t kill me!”, Brent mumbled.

The black fire ate Brent’s lighting that tied everyone’s neck and everyone freed from the lighting.

The black fire is getting hotter and bigger.

“Crack.. Crack”, sound from his barrier is eaten.

“Noo! NO!! I WON’T DIE HERE!!”, Brent shouted desperately.

He channeled lighting aura from his body to defend himself.

“Crashhh!!”, his barrier already swallowed by black fire.

Brent’s body burned little by little, even his lighting aura has disappeared just a second after the barrier swallowed.

Then Brent also swallowed in the black fire.
