The noble brat swung his sword in a shoulder-level, horizontal swipe, but Seth still managed to duck quickly in time.
Luck is truly on his hide.
The noble brat's sword was now glued to the tree behind Seth, again. The weapon was quite heavy for him.
At the given opportunity, Seth immediately busted out of his daze and reinforced his fist with raw mana. As his fist sank into the brat's stomach, the brat was forced to let out a gust of air.
"GAH!"
The noble brat clutched his stomach tightly, giving Seth a chance to pull the sword in order to finally end this troublesome situation. However, just as he gripped the sword's handle, a pulsating sensation of electric shock spread throughout his entire body as it spasmed until he finally let go of the handle.
Letting out a sharp yelp, he fell onto his knees.
The brat's saber was enchanted with protection. Only its owner could use it.
"HAHAHAH! Now you're dead, bastard!" The brat growled, taking his weapon back to his hand.
Swiftly, a fierce gale of wind blew against the brat's hand, causing the sword to slip out of his grasp.
Seth, who was still in pain, looked at Lyn who was about 12 meters away from him, only to see her panting heavily.
"Do not interfere, Lynstella! It's your fault for making me wait for such a long time!" The brat turned his head to Seth. "Maybe doing something to this rat will finally make your head clear."
As the brat picked up his weapon, Seth focused most of his raw mana on his legs, ready to leap at him.
And then...
"LAURENCE!"
A deep and loud voice rang throughout the area.
