(M/n)'s POV-
I came home from work and threw my jacket on a nearby counter. "Peter? I'm home!" I yell out into the apartment, waiting for him to run out and hug me. But, that didn't happen. Getting a bit concerned, I go and check the bedroom. He's not there. Then I check the office. Not there either.
'There's only one other place he can be,' I think as I make my way out the apartment and up the stairs. I find my way up to the roof of the complex. Opening the door, I finally see the messy hair of a brunette. He's sitting with his back to me on the edge of the building. Letting out a silent sigh, I take a step forward, but then I hear him.
"Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars~," I hear Peter sing as he strums on a ukulele. I taught him the melody for the song a few weeks ago, I didn't know he kept practicing. I stood by the door as he continued. "Let me know what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars," His voice is slow and sweet, never missing a note.
"In other words, hold my hand," Peter's voice gets quieter almost embarrassed as he looks down, "In other words..Darling kiss me~." I lean against the frame as I feel my heart swoon.
"Fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more"
I slowly make my way towards him, trying to not make a sound.
"You are all I long for. All I worship and adore."
"In other words, please be true~,"
"In other words..."
"I love you."
I stand behind the short brunette as he stares at the ukulele in his hands. "I hope he likes it..." I hear him say nervously, "I don't want him to laugh at how bad it is..." Not being able to take it anymore, I speak up finally. "How could I laugh at such a beautiful performance?"
Peter turns around slowly and sees me. Even on the dark roof, I saw his face go red. Before he could respond, I pick him up bridal style and fly into the air. The sky was lit up with bright stars and the moon almost full.
I look into his brown doe eyes and he shyly looks down. "Y-you heard..?" He asked quietly. I nod with a small smile, "You have an amazing voice~," I say, "And I also have something to tell you." Peter finally looks up at me. I lean down a bit and kiss him.
He kisses back and wraps his arms around me. The kiss although it was not a simply peck, It was full of pure innocence and the love we had for each other. When we pulled away, I told him softly,
"I love you too Peter."
