I don’t know if I’m the only one who’s noticed

Dr. Philoneous Finch is a fish,

But maybe they’re all too polite to protest. 

Dr. Philoneous Finch has sharp teeth

And looks like he came from miles beneath

The ocean.

Dr. Philoneous Finch is a good pediatrician,

But I don’t know if the law forbids

Such a fishy type of physician,

Dr. Philoneous Finch is a fish,

though even if he’s from the sea;

I might ignore that the Dr. is a fish

After all, he has a degree.
