ARUS'POV

Ikept my secret to myself for years and it was nearly going to expose now. Iknew I should tell her everything about me but I couldn't. Now I was in ahospital's waiting room waiting for a volcano get better and take him home toerupt itself in the middle of my marriage.

Leilacame back with two coffee in her hands and gave one to me. I couldn't look ather eyes. As it was two years ago. When I was out of that club I came home,slide down at the front door and cried my eyes out. I couldn't sleep that nightand regret invaded me. After a few hours I realized that I was still at thedoor sitting on the floor. I had one day till Leila come back and I need topull myself together and got over that...night. I took a shower, tried to getsome sleep, filled my stomach something I could eat and played some guitar. Iplayed my guitar till dawn and just realized I didn't turn the lights on tillthis hour and saw the sun lights through window. It lightened the room and lightenedme a little. I didn't know what to do exactly but I thought I could kept thissecret forever. Leila came back home at that afternoon and I couldn't looked ather eyes. She told me what they did on vacation excitedly and seemed veryhappy. I was about to cry again but kept myself together. I listened to her andtried to smiled at her. Regret was a really bad thing.

Anurse came to us and said he was awake now. Took us to his room. He was lookinglike sleeping. Leila hurried to him and took his hand in hers. He turned hishead toward us and looked like suprised. 

"Whatare you doing here?" he asked. His eyes were going between Leila andme. 

"Whathappened to you? How do you feel? Are you ok?" asked Leila. I didn't tellanything just watched them. 

"Iwas trying to figure out where I could go to spend the night and that guy inhis car hit on me. He tried to convince me to go with him and was willing topay me for this. But I didn't let him continue with his nonsense and go on myway. He just hit me by his car and run away. But I memorized his plate numberand gave it to the police just before you came to my room."

"Oh...Iam very sorry. Thank god you are ok. I'm sure they will find him in notime." Leila said and looked at me to see why I was silence. I nodded myhead. 

"Buthow did you find out that I am hit by a car and in a hospital?" Earthasked curiously.

"Isaved my number on your phone that day you left. In case you need help orsomething." I said finally opened my mouth.

"Doctorsaid you need to be home and someone should take care of you as you cannot walkproperly for a while. So tomorrow we will take you to our home again. Youcannot say no." said Leila and he nodded hesitantly.

Iwas feeling lucky because he did not recognize me. At that night he was drunkas hell and didn't know who I was. I understood it at the first time we met.There was not any recognition in his eyes while he was looking at me. And Ifelt lucky. I relieved.

Leilawanted to stay with him for the night. But he insisted that we should go homeand tomorrow could come to pick him up. I didn't want her to be well disposedto him this much and supported him saying there was nothing we could do even ifwe stayed. The weight on my shoulders were getting heavier when she tried to takecare of him as if he was her brother. Why she had a very good heart toeveryone?  Finally she convinced to leave and we could go home.

Nextmorning she woke me up and hurried me to go to the hospital to take the boy. Igrumbled and turned the opposite side to continue to sleep. 

"What'sgoing on with you? Why you are acting like this? You don't care that boy? Thereis someone need help and I can't turn my back to him." she said.

Isighed and turned my face to her. She was looking at me as if I was trying tokick some kitten out of the house. 

"Ok...ok.Let me take a shower first." I said tired as hell.

Sheshook her head as if she didn't want to believe I was acting like that. 

Itwas hard trying to act normal. It realy needs some acting skills to not show anysign of regret or fear to be exposed. When we arrived at his room he wasgetting ready to leave. Doctor came and asked him to come to check his leg'ssituation after ten days. He nodded and took his crutches from nurse. The nursehelped him for crutches and he got up on his feets. Couldn't stand still andsit down back on his bed. Leila rushed forward to help him. God this woman...Finally he succeded to walk with crutches and we went to the car. I helped himto get in the passenger seat before we drove on our way home.

Wearrived at home and I helped him to get out of the car while Leila carrying hisbag into home. It was hard for him to walk with that things and I waited forhim patiently. He looked at me and smiled thankfully. I smiled back which was notreached to my eyes. When he settled in his bed Leila went to make some dinnerfor us. I went to help her after I made sure he was ok and didn't needanything. 

"SometimesI can't believe how big heart you have. Without even thinking a little bitbringing a total stranger in our home and taking his responsibility is a hugething you know?" I asked.

"AndI can't believe the man I love -who I believe has a good heart- doesn't evenlift a finger for someone who needs help!" she said disappointedly.

"Iam doing my best. I am just not comfortable about some guy we don't know at allin my home for what... ten days?"

"Arewe going through this discussion again? Will you kick him out tomorrow orwhat?" she was angry at me. I thougth it was better to argue for this thanfor being exposed. I need to convince her to kick him out as soon as possible.

"NoI will not kick him out tomorrow but please reason and comprehend what I mean.Ok dear? And please don't get angry with me. I am ready to do anything you needto do."

Shesighed and nodded. I kissed her with love. With all my love in my heart forher. She smiled at me and went back to cooking. When the dinner was ready shetook a tray for Earth and went to his room. 

EARTH'SPOV

Iheard a knock on the door and it opened. Leila was coming with a tray in herhands. She smiled and put the tray on my lap.

"Pleaseeat. You need to take your medicine after you finished these. Hope you likeit." she said.

"Yesofcourse I like it. Thank you." I said. She was looking at me while I waseating and I stopped. Looked at her with a questioning look. She shook her headand smiled again. 

"Pleasego on darling. I was just thinking about what will you do after recovery. Weneed to figure out." she said and I got confused.

"Iappreciated your help really. But can I ask you why do you do this? Yes Ineeded and still need help. But you just offered me some money instead to showme a way to figure out and I feel that I am not that much welcomed here."I pointed my head to the other room where Arus was.

"DarlingArus is not that kind of person you think. He has a really good heart andactually always helps people in need. I will be honest with you ok? He's notused to have a stranger at home. He's just uneasy about you staying here. Butdon't worry he will get used to you soon. I just cannot let you go back tostreets again. One time we did and look at your situation now. I belive it wasa sign for us to met you at the street when you fainted."

Inodded slowly to make her understand that I accepted her help. I finished myfood and she took the tray and stood up to go and leave me alone in theroom. 

"I...needto take shower. I didn't take since I left your home and I really feel dirtynow."

Shestopped and looked at me while thinking.

"Ok.Let me ask Arus to help you while showering. It is not appropriate for me tohelp you but I think he will be better for you right? " she smiled andleft the room.
