Emily would not sit around in her room, she had too much to do, too many things that had to be handled. She had already written her sister that if, she didn't rush down here this instant that she would reveal who she really was.
Though Emily wasn't sure if she really would, but maybe . . . Maybe that's what she should do, just come out and say it. It's not as if her sister would get the letter in time to stop the marriage.
Nevertheless, if she told Devon her real identity he would surely feel like a fool and no longer want to marry her sister.
Maybe if she spoke with Molina and told her that she was not Eliza but Emily, then she could come up with some excuse to why they need to head back home. Of course, she would be in big trouble with her mother and father but still it would get her out of this . . . It would be the right thing to do.
So that's what she would do. Tell Molina, it was the right thing to do.
"You look like a woman who has made up her mind." A voice said from the shadows. It was not the voice of Devon but another male. Looking over her shoulder Emily found a slender male standing in a shadowy hallway.
"Owe sorry sir I hadn't seen you standing there." had she been that caught up in her thoughts that she hadn't notice passing this gentleman or was the hallway too dark. Somehow, Emily couldn't believe that she hadn't noticed him and more that he had followed her from behind. Something about the man mad her uncomfortable.
"I'm Edwin Gibson, one of McKenna friends." That explained the off-putting feeling he gave her.
"It's nice to meet you lord Gibson. I'm Em-Eliza Maglite." With a raise of her hand, Emily let Edwin take it in his own. Only he didn't let go right after kissing it, he held on tight yet gentle his hands lightly running over her fingers.
"You have a sister, if I'm not mistaken."
Hiding her worry behind a soft smile Emily nodded her head.
"Quite, right sir my sister Emily, the houses shy wall flower."
How did he know me? Emily thought to herself, she didn't remember meeting this man before. "How do you know her?"
The stranger moved from the shadows then his pale skin placed upon a beautiful face. A face that any young lady could lose their hearts to.
"I know her because I was told she would be my wife."
