So I think I came to the conclusion that these shadow selfs are the opposite emotion/side of the individual. The women was caring and kind, yet her shadow was hateful and angry. Dan doesn't really love, that's why his shadow is more heartfelt and cared more in the "twisted" event. And I think Dan will be able to start loving, now that his shadow is with him, maybe they need to combine?? Idk. Tho not sure where these shadows came from? Obvs from the dreams but we didn't see the other couples self shadows? I really like the story, a lot of great things happening(especially the art), but there's some holes in the writing that's hard to see what you're trying to do. Would love to have a conversation about this, but great job overall
