After an excruciating one-hour ride, he finally arrived on the production lot with about ten minutes to spare. Slowly jogging through to reach the elegant space being used for filming, André quickly gets distracted by someone carrying vibrant bundles of flowers. A quick glimpse of elegance, before André get nailed in the chest by someone and their metal cup of coffee, knocking both parties to the stone floor of the studio lot. Thankfully nothing either of them wore were stained. Regaining some semblance of composure, André asks “Are you alright?”. The other individual looks over and gains their composure. “Ah...yeah. I’m fine. What about you, are you alright?”. André grinned, “Yes, I’m fine, just a little shaken up”.
The two get up and revaluate. André felt as if he had to make up for bumping into this person. Whether or not it was actually André's fault was unimportant. What was important was getting to that meeting.
“Hey, I have to run to a meeting soon, how about I take you out to get coffee soon? To make up for all of this”.
The other person, a bit surprised, responds “Oh thank you. I’d love that”. The two exchange numbers and depart ways. André was successful in his meeting with the director, being able to construct a draft of the trailer with the team, making moves behind the scenes to make sure his work was seen and honored before the Head of Marketing arrived on the floor Thursday.
