Romeo's point of view

While Finn was on a date with Nesoto I got a date as well. After a few weeks and a few dates till now, which all were more test dates, don´t worry, everything was fully spoken through with the other parts, I was ready for my first real date with a person I was highly interested in. It was the otter I wrote with right on the first day I got Timider.  His name was Aiden and he was a really hot cutie telling from his pictures and the ones he sent me from time to time. He was really patient with me and I just really got attached with him. And today was our first real date. We wrote a lot till now, even got a few phone dates, since he accepted I was too shy to meet in person. We made up to meet at a café in the city and if we would be as sympathetic we were on phone with each other we would go to the sea later. That was the plan.

So I dressed up and left the house right after Finn. Since I didn't want to step into Nesoto by mistake I took a later time for my date then Finns. While I was on the bus, I wrote the first message to my fox, who answered nearly immediately. ‘Hey, did you already meet? Is everything fine?’ I wrote. ‘Hey, yeah everything’s fine by now. He picked me up with a limo o.o’ I was relieved my fox boy was fine. I would message him every once in a while to make sure he would be fine the whole date long.

After I got sure Finn was fine, I messaged Jessy. ‘Hey, I´m on my way now’, I wrote and got a thump up back. We made up that I would write whenever I got a good time, but if she wouldn't hear anything from me longer than after an hour she would write to me and then call me. And if everything would go down, she would call Raven and my brother. She knew our plans, so I was safe. I hope it wouldn't be needed, but better safe than sorry.

When I found the café I was too early, so I waited outside for Aiden. We exchanged a lot of pictures so I was sure to recognize him. While I was looking around the door of the café opened and someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around a little startled. Then I put my hand on my chest to turn down the pace of my bumping heart. “Boy, you scared me” I said to Aiden who got on a crooked smile. “Sorry Sweetie, wasn't my plan to shock you. Wanna go inside?” I nodded and followed my date. Aiden was a black haired guy my height and with slight muscles, which were barely seen if you don't lay an eye on it. He reminded me of Finn. He was totally my type of guy. But looks weren't all.

We sat down and I ordered a cocoa and a piece of cheesecake, while Aiden stuck with coffee. Only coffee. But this was fine, as long as he didn't turn me down for eating cake. “So, cute wolf. How comes a wolf meets an otter?” He asked me with a slight smile. “Well, let's say I got my reasons. I could say the same to you. Why does an otter meet a wolf and not another otter?” While asking I felt inside of me to see the reaction of my wolf with the otter boy, but he wasn't interested in the slightest. I sighed inside. Maybe he would get more hyped if I would stick with Aiden a longer time? Maybe even get feelings? I would need to wait longer to give a clear opinion if my wolf was just confused or serious with Finn. It didn't come to my mind that he experienced the same thing right now with his fox and Nesoto.

Aiden grinned with my question. “Touché” He answered. “Let's stick with the fact we are both a little strange. But that’s one thing already connecting us. You are an omega, am I right?” I already knew from Aiden´s profile he was a beta, but I didn't expect him asking me right away for my subgender. I pulled my head. “Yeah” I answered subdued. I didn't know how he would react. Maybe he wanted only dating other betas? Maybe he searched for his mate?

Aiden laid his hand on mine. “Hey. It's ok! I was just serious” he said serious but with a kindly undertone, so I nodded in agreement. “So you're fine with dating an omega?” “Totally!” I smiled relieved, then our order came. “Did you have a safe ride here?” Aiden now asked into the upcoming silence. I looked up from my cake and nodded. I was pretty shy, but Aiden didn't seem to care much. He was just friendly. I mean, he already knew about my shyness from the messaging, but this didn't have to mean that he would be fine with it while the date, but I could see he just wanted me to feel good. “Perfect. Then let's talk about… hmmm, what do you wanna talk about?” I thought about his question. “Hmm, don´t know. Do you want to have kids one day?” I asked him. He nodded. “If I ever get the ability I want to, yes” Aiden then answered. “How about you?” I nodded as well real quick. “Oh yes! I dream of a future with kids! I love kids.” “So you want to work with kids as well?” I nodded again. “Yes, I wanna become a teacher or a kindergarten supervisor. If I can make it with college my dream is becoming an elementary school teacher.” Aiden smiled seeing my happy lighted face. “That’s so cute” he said still smiling, so I smiled back. “Thank you” I said shy. “Hmmm, what could I ask as well? We wrote so much and even talked on the phone. I don't have many ideas to be honest.” I had to nod in agreement again. I neither came up with any idea. “We never talked much about family, if I remember right. Do you have siblings?” Aiden now asked, trying to break the ice building up between us over the not knowing what to talk about. “I got an older brother” I answered. “He will pick me up later. And you? Do you have any siblings as well?” “I got two siblings same age as me. A brother and a sister.” He said. I caught some courage. “You didn't say what you want to become when you are older.” I brought up again. “Ouh, you are right. I want to become an architect.” “So you are good with drawing?” “Yeah, pretty much” “Do you only draw solid things or living things as well?” “Only solid”. Over the drawing we came to some more questions and the hours past. Jessy called me a few times, since I totally forgot my phone and I asked her to check on Finn as well, since I forgot him as well so she did. Aiden got no problem with my friends checking on me once in a while. He even said that in his opinion it was pretty good to have someone watching over me, since nobody can ever know if something would happen.

Later that day we got to a restaurant. Since we talked so much and the time went by so fast, we skipped our idea of going to the sea till next time, and just wanted to eat something fine before going home again. After our restaurant visit I called Jason and he picked me up. I asked what's with Finn, when he came and Jason answered his date would drive him home. Seemed like Finn's date with Nesoto went pretty fine as well.

I made up with Aiden to write again for a second date and he kissed my cheek while hugging goodbye. I turned red and smiled shy. He grinned like the Cheshire cat. My brother grinned as well, watching us.

After we sat inside the car, he spoke up. “Seems like your date went pretty well,” he said. I smiled in feeling good. “Yes, was pretty good. Aiden is a nice guy, pretty cute and more manly than me. I think I could fall for him.” Jason just grinned. He was happy seeing me happy. “And when will you meet again?” “Don´t know, we want to write about this. I will wait the next few days to see if he sticks interested.” “Good idea little brother. Just let him hang on the hook a little to see if he is interested in you”

We got back home and started cooking, while I danced humming through the kitchen. Then we heard the front door clicking. Finn was back.
