“You useless rat!” Soren shouted as he kicked a stack of papers at Rigby.
“I'm sorry sir,” Rigby mumbled meekly as he tried to make himself invisible.
“Shut up I don't want to hear your worthless excuses,” Soren shouted as he threw a book at him. Rigby held back a cry of pain as the book struck him in the shoulder.
“Clean this mess up. I want this place spotless by the time I get back.” Soren growled as he grabbed Rigby’s chin and forced him to look into his eyes.
“If I find a mess when I come back, not only will you get beat, but I'll make sure that something just happens to go wrong while your husband is out on a mission. Disgusting gay shit.” Soren spat at him as he threw his face out of his hand and stormed out of the room. Rigby held back his tears as he started to clean the room as quickly as he could. Rigby sorted through the papers on the floor trying to reorganize them, he knew it was basically impossible to do in the amount of time he had so he was just going to have to make it as believable as possible. Rigby quickly restacked the papers and picked up the books Soren had thrown at him. Rigby quickly finished cleaning Sorens desk as he checked his watch, he was supposed to have met the group at Luigi’s by now. He knew they would start to worry about him. Rigby finished his work just as Soren walked back into the room.
“Hmmm, somehow you did enough to pass my inspection,” Soren said flatly as he inspected the room.
“You may be done for the night but remember.” Soren chuckled slightly as he towered over Rigby.
“You tell your husband anything and I'll make sure you regret it. Now get out of my sight you disgusting fag.” Soren growled as he slapped him. Rigby just nodded his head with tears filling his eyes, he knew Soren had left a handprint. Rigby ran as fast as he could out of the room, running into Isabella.
“I'm sorry Isie,” Rigby mumbled as he stood up.
“Rigby, what happened to you?” Isabella asked him frantically, seeing the handprint on his face.
“I'm fine Isie, please just don’t I have to go,” Rigby whispered as he pulled away from her and ran off. He had to get to the speakeasy soon, he knew the others would be getting worried soon and he didn't want them to come looking for him. Rigby quickly grabbed some ice and pressed it against his cheek, he had to get rid of the handprint before he got there or they would all ask a million questions he couldn't answer. Rigby sighed as he ran to the garage he just wanted this night to be over.
Soren sat at his desk and inspected the papers he had to go through.
“Sir?” Isabella called through the intercom.
“What is it?” Soren sighed annoyed.
“There's a woman out here who says she has an appointment?” Isabella said.
“Send her in and make it quick, I have a date with my wife tonight,” Soren said rubbing his temples in frustration, that little bitch had given him a headache. This was the last straw the next time he saw Rigby he was going to kill him. Soren sighed as he turned around and somebody walked in.
“How can I help you?” Soren asked as the woman stood in the middle of the room.
“I need to know something.” the lady said flatly.
“Yes, yes what is it, woman.” Soren spat at her. The woman glared at him with her harsh hazel eyes, every fiber of the stare was filled with rage.
“The name Gino Santoro, does it ring any bells?” The woman growled keeping the same bitter and enraged stare.
Soren chuckled, “yes I remember Gino, He was such a prick. It was a relief when I killed him. Like the world had been cleansed of a terrible burden.” Soren’s laugh faltered as he watched something snap in the woman's eyes.
“The only burden the world needs to be cleansed of is you!” The woman spoke lowly her eyes livid, as she reached for something in her pocket. Soren quickly jumped up from his desk and reached for the gun in his drawer. Before he could even open the drawer the woman pulled out a collapsible spear, before Soren even had time to register what was happening the woman threw her spear. Soren choked back a strangled cry as the spear pierced through his abdomen right in between his ribs and logged into the wall behind him. Soren coughed as he felt blood begin to fill his throat.
“That….was for Gino.” The woman growled as she ripped the spear out of his body. Soren collapsed to the ground into his blood pooling on the floor, he coughed, spitting up blood as his body tried to clear his throat that was filling with it.
“Hurts doesn't it? That's how it felt when you took Gino away from me.” The woman said flatly as she cleaned her weapon.
“Looks like you're going to be late for your date.” The woman sighed as he felt the life draining from his body.
“It was a pleasure to meet you, Mr. McIntyre.” The woman smirked as a black void closed around him.
