"so I was curious to know what happen after..... with your case and the man who killed that whole family.... did you stopped him from killing again?"

Martha asks curious to know more.

"no, I never knew who was the real killer. after the girl was killed I tried to find anything that could have lead me towards the killer but he was just like a ghost, there were other cases, many other cases that were similar and I am sure that he had killed many more in the same way but he was always like a ghost that I couldn't find."

said the detective feeling disappointed of himself.

for the rest of the road they were completely quiet, he puts some country music. they finally arrived at the place in which they were told that the Craftsman was supposed to be in the middle of nowhere. they get out of the car and they walk slowly inside of the woods. eventually Augusto and Richard were behind them with many cops surrounding the woods. Raul was far away looking at them with a weird smile waiting for them.

one of the policeman steps in a bear trap, he falls on the ground bleeding a lot, two officers fall on a hole, one of them breaks his left leg on the fall.

"don't move, everyone don't make a single move. he knew we were coming and he left some traps for us. we are going to walk slowly forward but make sure to look aroud and specially on the ground before making even a small move."

said the detective Fisherman angry to see himself in this position. 

Augusto runs forward and Martha runs behind of him. the detective was too worry to say or do anything. he just walked forward slowly trying to keep himself alive before making any stupid move.

Richard also went forward but he walked really slow and he walked with his eyes closed, he was too scared to look. 

some cops were trying to help the the cops whom were wounded in the traps, other cops walked out of the woods afraid of being wounded by the traps and some cops walked forward but slowly with fear. what they didn't know is that the man who put the traps didn't left many because he didn't have much time, the few traps that he left were in the same area to scare them and for them to doubt. 

Raul was inside of the cabin waiting for someone to enter, he was holding a gun in his right hand. with his left hand he was holding a figure that he carved in wood. he heard some foot steps and he was smiling thinking it was his cousin but he was disappointed when he saw Augusto in front of the door inside of the cabin. Augusto walked towards him and Raul shot twice at him. one bullet went through his neck and the other bullet was stuck on his leg. Augusto was screaming in pain and Raul walked towards him, he step in front of him looking at the blood and the fear on the face of that man.

"you made a stupid mistake by walking on the territory of a dangerous beast. didn't your parents teach you that if you see a dangerous animal on his habitad he would tear you apart, piece by piece.... I won't kill you, not jet but I would leave a reminder with you to be careful when you walk in front of danger."

said Raul with a smile.

Raul aims at Augusto's pants and he shots once. he leaves laughing, he is hysterical. 

Richard hears a loud noise and he walks fast towards the direction from which the sound came and he sees Raul in front of him but he doesn't know what to do so he follows him slowly, he sends a message to Martha and he keeps walking. Richard is nervous looking around of him. he receives a message from Martha and he smiles with joy thinking that everything is going to be okay. Richard slips droping his phone and making enough noise for Raul to notice that someone is following him and he turns around shooting at Richard multiple times. Richard falls on the ground, he is barely breathing. 

"what is wrong with this people screaming kill me please? can't they see that I am in the middle of something."

said Raul furious.

the detective Darwin Fisherman was walking around the woods, he heard the sound of the gun shots and he run towards that direction, he realized too late that those traps were just to distracted them and to give him time. 

Martha is finally in front of her cousin, the only person of which she never suspected, the only man she thought to be good and uncapable of any cruelty. he is not just the man who killed her before but also a dangerous and despicable man. they are face to face in the middle of the woods.

"hello my sweet grumpy favorite cousin."

said Raul with a playful smile.

"hello, I never thought you could be such a cruel and evil person but I also didn't know I could die twice or more times. you can learn about so many strange things about the world but it is until you look at the world and not around of you that you notice those peculiar things you never notice before or knew about. all this is new to me but I can get used to it, but the only thing I can't get used to is looking at you and that evil essence that comes off your body or that smile that is nothing compared to your true nature."

said Martha feeling anger and fear at the same time.

"don't be like that Mariana, that is not something you should say to the only person who understands you or really knows you better than anyone else."

said Raul looking at her and extending his right arm while showing to her the figure that he carved on wood.

"is that for me? do you know what I feel when I look at you? is something inbetween hatred and fear, but with disgust."

said Martha with a small smile.

"how dare you to talk to me like that. I am trying to be a nice person but you are really getting on my nerves. you insolent replacement for a dead child."

yields Raul furious.

they are looking at each other. he shots her in her left foot. Raul throws away the figure and he holds her with one hand. from his pockets he takes out a syringe and he injects her in the neck. he is walking while holding her in his arms. he keeps walking slowly and he whispers on her ear. eventually he gets out of the woods and he walks towards his car. detective Fisherman walks behind of him holding a gun. 

"where do you think you are going son of a bitch. you are not walking away, you are going to pay for what you did to Dolores and specially to that innocent girl you are holding."

said the detective furious.

"what are you talking about. I am just an artist expressing his emtions on the shape of art, is not my fault that my art isn't for everyone, but don't I have freedom of expression. it is written on my constitution."

said Raul trying to make fun of the detective.

Raul puts Martha on the car and he takes his gun out slowly. he breaths fast thinking clearly about what he is going to do. he turns around fast and they both shoot at each other. the detective falls on the ground badly wounded. Raul leaves on the car, the detective tries to follow him but he falls on the ground once more and some cops help him to stand up while he screams at them telling them that the man they wanted to capture is scaping with an innocent woman.

at the moment everything seems to be just how Raul wanted that night to end, Augusto and Richard where on the woods bleeding out. the detective couldn't even stand up and Martha was unconscious. Raul felt like he had won a game of chess and now he was going home with the price on his hands. he looks at the road and a car at high speed crashes with his car. his car overturns. 

in the other car was Alexander driving. he didn't went inside of the woods because he knew there was a possibility that Rul will outsmart them and he wanted to stay behind to make sure that he doesn't scapes. Alexander gets out of his car bleeding a lot from the forehead. he is walking while dragging his left leg. the crash was brutal but he won't leave Martha behind after all he has feelings for her. he keeps walking and he sees Martha in the road bleeding. he walks faster until he is in front of her. he talks to her and she opens her eyes. she punshes in the face and she yields.

"wait it is me. is me. I am a terrible driver but not a bad guy."

said Alexander with a friendly smile.

"what? Alexander the dishwasher?"

asked Martha confused.

"I prefer 'the great' but if 'the dishwasher' makes you feel safe then called me that."

said Alexander trying to calm her down.

he helps her to stand up and they walk together towards his car, he gets a gun out of his pockets and he gives the gun to Martha whom is still confuse, she looks worry at him.

"it is for you, you can use it on that bastard.... I had a feeling that I won't make it out alive."

said Alexander with a friendly smile.

Martha looks behind at Raul standing behind them holding a gun. then she looks at Alexander smiling at her. Raul shoots and the bullet blows Alexander's brains off. his body falls on the ground with Martha. she stands up holding the gun in shock. she looks at the dead body in front of her and then she looks at her cousin.

"the end of the road darling, you can't get out of here."

said Raul enjoying the moment.

"no, you need to stop. I won't allow you to keep hurting people."

yields Martha ready to stop him.

"are you sure that you can stop me after all I am like a storm that drags everything around at his wish, you can't stop someone as powerful or strong like me, can't be stop even after death."

yields Raul looking around.

"you are sick Raul, you are sick but don't worry I know that you don't understand how sick you are but I am going to help you."

said Martha with a strange smile.

"you don't understand the power that we hold. we hold a power like no other."

yields Raul looking at her in the eyes.

"don't tell me you had died once too? you are like me."

said Martha confused and worry.

"it happen to me out of nowhere while I was trying to kill my first victim I was the one to be killed and jet I woke up the next day like if nothing has ever happen, of course she couldn't walk away alive and she had such a horrible death even I felt shivers. but that is not the point, the point is that I had been able to used this god like power in order to stay like a ghost until now that you had found my identity dear cousin.... I do not fear death but let me make this clear, none of us is getting out of here alive nor is going to stay dead. we had found a way to defy death itself so tell me are you ready for what is coming because I am."

said Raul while looking at the sky.

"I don't know in which moment did you turn like that but there is something that I can tell you and I am sure of it. you are not getting away easily, you had play with fired for too long and is time for you to burn till there is not even ashes left."

said Martha angry looking at the monster who used to be the best person in the world on her eyes.

"I don't need a backstory to explain why or how I became like this nor I need to explain that I had already won. everyone who wanted to saved you or captured me is either dead or lost far away from us."

said Raul feeling almost like a god.

"no you are wrong, they were on my way but now that we are alone there is no one who can stop me from killing you."

said Martha with a small smile.

she shots at him twice and he shots back. they shoot at each other until their guns are empty. Martha falls on her knees looking down on the ground bleeding a lot. Raul walks away dragging a leg. one bullet punctured a lung. he walks slowly looking at the sky and he laughs while he feels the steps of people getting closed. 

"I am the craftsman.... I become a legend.... I am myth, like the bogeyman.... if I am not real then I can't die."

said Raul in a moment of madness about to die.

he keeps walking until he feelts that he can't give even one more step. the detectvie Darwin Fisherman is behind him. the detective asks something while holding a gun. Raul answers with a smile, then he falls on the ground dead. the detective looks at his dead body and he shots at the head twice. the detective runs towards Martha and he drags her body inside of a car, he wants to take her to a hospital while she is telling him to stop. in the way to the hospital Martha dies and the detective entered the hospital carrying her body bridal style. he was crying and screaming in pain knowing that she was dead and that he had failed as a cop but what he didn't know is that she could come back alive.

he received a call in which he was told that they found the dead bodies of Augusto, Richard and Alexander. they found the body of Raul. everything was a disaster and he had lost faith that night but he had no idea of what was going to happen next.
