Hey, Noodles! So there's going to be a lot in this update (and it will def be all over the place) so please just bear with me. It would mean a lot to me if you guys read through the whole thing, but I made a short summary in the description if you'd rather just skip to that.
I'd like to quickly address the rising violence against Asian Americans and I'd like to state that this is a safe place and we (my editor and I), do not tolerate such violence and racism. There will be links in the description for what you can do to help. My heart also goes out to those who experienced the snowstorm in Texas or knew someone who did. I will put links in the description for that as well.
So I'm working on the next chapter and I'm not really sure where to go. I'm asking my editor for help but we both have school and it's been rough (I'm in an online class now as we speak)😅. If you have any suggestions then feel free to email me or leave a comment. But the good news is we finally finished this really huge year-long project that was stressful so yaaaaay! Hopefully, I'll be able to update more and all that jazz. I'm just really ready for summer now. I feel like it will be so much easier to write then. Oh and I have literally been avoiding checking tapas for the past two months because when I do I just feel so disappointed in myself, but I'm fine so don't worry. I bring that up to say that there is a new format to tapas that I'm trying to navigate so if I do something funky I'm sorry lol. I'd also like to properly greet any new followers so if you're new then hey! I'm Ramenbowl and thank you for joining the noodle family. My editor is my best friend and I hope you stay awhile and enjoy reading!
With that out of the way, I'd like to formally come out and say I'm genderfluid! My pronouns change but I generally use he/they pronouns. For simplicity, I just tell people to use they/them since there are times that I prefer she/her but I'm almost always ok with they/them. I was reluctant to say it because there are at least two people I know of irl that I didn't really want to come out to for personal reasons. I don't think they've continued reading my content so I wanted to take the risk because I wanted to be open with you guys. Sooooo, yeah, I think that was about it. I hope everything has been going well for all of you, I truly appreciate your support. I still can't believe we've come this far and I hope that once my schedule is back to normal that I can provide you guys with some really awesome content. Once again thanks so much to each of you and lots of thanks to my editor(Ms. Jeff da hedgehog as I like to call her) and I'll see you guys soon hopefully!
Hey! It's Ramenbowl. Hope you guys have an awesome day! If you didn't want to read through all that then here is a quick summary: I'm genderfluid (they/them is fine most of the time), I'm working on the next chapter, and I got my first puppy. To my Asian Americans please know that this is a safe place and I feel absolutely awful seeing the increasing violence in your community. My heart also goes out to those who experienced the Texas snowstorm. Here are some places you can check out and donate/ reshare for both of those: https://www.welcometochinatown.com
