Deep in uncharted space, 'The Cruizer' which Katrina is on-board, is a huge military transport weighing more than a 100,000 tons; able to hold a maximum capacity of 3,000 personnel which includes crew members and military forces. It could also carry a large payload of ordnance and armed to the teeth with various armaments at its disposal. Its hypercorex engine mainly runs on nuclear fission; which is still the most reliable and fundamental fuel for interstellar travel. Its nuclearon cells powers its massive engines as it traverse at the speed of light; heading towards a distant planet known as Andonia, which lies in the Delta sector, approximately 9 light years away from earth. 

          Andonia is a huge Class-M planet that orbits around 2 identical suns, while 6 other exoplanets are also orbiting in the same solar system namely Diavon, Charem, Scavork, Paythos, Berthak and Mavok. Being the largest, Andonia is a fully habitable planet with lush vegetation and vast boundless oceans; complete with atmospheric conditions that are conducive to humans - since oxygen is found in abundance and its gravity is also similar to earth. The planet was first spotted with the use of a large telescope by a renowned astronomer named - Charles Isak during the 21st Century. He predicted that mankind should be able to reach and land on Andonia in a thousand years’ time. As time flies by, his prediction was proven to be accurate as humans have learned how to develop spacecraft with deep space travel and warp-speed capabilities. 

                  Soon enough, people from earth have elected to migrate over to Andonia - with a prospect of good living and the promise of a better governance by the Kanos dominion. After all, earth was dying and its oceans are almost dried up - leaving...seems to be the only practical and prudent manner for the continuous survival of humankind. With 2 billion population and advanced metropolitan infrastructures already established - human civilization has certainly set a good foothold on Andonia. However, mankind is not at the top of the food chain as it seems, albeit as conquerors of this volatile planet. 

                  An indigenous winged reptile species known simply as the Draconem (or Draco) shall claim that title instead. The Draconems are a mysterious species, always eluding the sight and trailing of humans. Howbeit, over a period of time - the humans have learned how to track and capture these majestic beast; using them for our own cause and always retrofitting the Draco's with weaponry and heavy tech for offense or defense. The Draconems are regarded as highly intelligent, yet extremely dangerous if not domesticated - as many have perished in the process of trying to docile them. But still, there are yet other uses of them which are not known to us yet. Only time will tell of whom will be the first to discover its potent abilities.

                 As the huge spacecraft emerges from a wormhole and approaches closer to the planet's Thermosphere - eight huge platforms like the shape of an iron boomerang, train their protruding powerful solar cannons towards the perceived threat of the incoming military shuttle. The Cruizer bridge quickly radioed the Andonia's planetary defense for authorized reentry into its atmosphere as they certainly do not wish to be a cannon fodder for today.  

                 "Stratos defense, this is captain Ramirez of The Cruizer. Requesting for authorized reentry. Saga code is 5-6-8-niner-jazz." 

                 There was a moment of silence. Thereafter, the large viewport screen lights up as a female operator speaks through her headset.

                 "Good morning Captain Ramirez... your code is old albeit it’s still usable. I suggest you obtain new verifications once you have reached our Halos port, as the insurgents have been trying to hack into our codex lately." the female operator suggested.

                 The captain was annoyed with her remarks but responded swiftly with a smirk.

                 "Sure, I will get my first officer to attend to it the first thing we arrive." assured Ramirez Adon.

                 "Excellent! Permission granted for your reentry. Escorts have been provided for you. Please follow them as you make your way to the Governplex. Have a good day captain."

                 The viewport screen flashes off to reveal a transparent view of the greenish planet ahead of them as the huge menacing solar cannons of the planetary defense retracted silently from their aim towards their ship.

                 "Very well then, everybody saddle up and be prepared for the rough ride ahead." ordered the captain.

         His crew members spring to action as they flip, push and drag various control switches on their touchscreen. The pilots, both of them grip their joysticks in a forward yet gentle manner and the huge shuttle declines steadily forward. Captain Ramirez took his main seat in the center of the bridge with pride as he looks on to his crew with delight and with utmost confidence that they are up to the task. As the Cruizer heavy bow pierces the Mesosphere at great speed, its huge hull vibrates violently and in an instant - the entire ship is engulfed in hot fiery flames as it descended upon Andonia's atmosphere. Its 9 o'clock in the morning and the skies certainly never looked any brighter with the twin suns glaring brightly over the horizon. Shortly afterwards, The Cruizer enters the Troposphere seamlessly without incident and the vibrations along with the flames dissipates - while its turbojet blaze degrades into a stable combustion. Ramirez looks on with great satisfaction as he utters to himself.

                  "Welcome back to the land of greatness."

                  A high ranking officer that stood nearby speaks with discord.

          "I rather say... its good to be back to the land of anguish." said Ajax Horface.

                  "If it's not because of the escalation of the GATOR insurgence, I won't be needed over here."

                  "I concur Colonel, but I am afraid bad news is going to stay where it is." said the captain.

                  "Fear not comrade, we have an exceptional cargo onboard, one which will turn the tide of this god damn forsaken war." Ajax convinces Ramirez.

          "I only fear if we have sufficient time to pull this through. As the insurgents are starting to gain on us, in strength and also in numbers."

          "We will crush them like ants comrade, so bad that they will never set foot again a thousand klicks from our city walls. You shall see soon enough."

          Captain Ramirez tries not to chuckle sarcastically at the Colonel's remark. 

          As Ajax finishes, Vintorch city appeared abruptly from the thick clouds - through the field of vision from the shuttle's viewport. Various airships and smaller aircrafts can be seen from the looming cityscape. Suddenly - 2 red Encirclers appeared from nowhere and fly in formation on both sides of the Cruizer. Ramirez remembered them as their escorts and then immediately ordered his crew to land at the Halos military airport which is close to the Kanos command center located downtown.

         "Captain... landing gear released and we will have touchdown in 3 minutes." said Lily - the first officer.

         The Cruizer taxied and found an empty hangar within the Halos port and lands gracefully on it. Katrina felt a slight bump from the behemoth's landing. She unbuckles her seat belt in her sparsely furnished private quarters and grabs her gear to join the others as her regiment exited through the cargo doors hastily. Various men and woman disembark from the ship and make their ways to report to their respective CO's standing adjacent before them on the runway. A few military jets whooshes across the distance as more huge military transports and ships can be seen landing and taking off at the same time on one of the busiest airport in Andonia. As Katrina takes on the scenery, one of the ranking officer spotted her from a distance as he recognizes her insignia instantly as captain of the elite Vanguarders.

                "You must be Captain Katrina?" the young officer asked after he saluted.

              "Yes indeed I am."

        "My name is Abel and I am your security escort. Please follow me as you will be escorted along with Colonel Ajax."

        Katrina revulsed at the mention of the Colonel's name.

        "Certainly...lead on." Katrina has no choice but to oblige.

        As she passed through a series of corridors meant for VIP's only, she noticed a few soldiers standing guard are feeling distressed in some manner, as if an unseen force seemed to be gripping their shoulders from behind. One of them bores a tattoo on his wrist with the shape of two black winged serpents biting on a fist and a sword. While she descends the escalator, she witnessed through the large glass windows that a small black crate was being carefully removed from the Cruizer cargo hatch while a large security presence surrounds it in an attempt to protect the seemingly precious cargo. The guards eventually load the small crate into the back of a waiting black SUV. She asked Abel as she points through the large glass panel. 

               "What's that they got over there?"

               "I am not sure as it's classified, the only thing I know...that it's going to help us win the war against the rebels." answered Abel optimistically.

               "Is it so?" Katrina thought to herself.
