A small periscope pokes through the surface of the open ocean as it swings cautiously 360 degrees. Sensing no danger, the yellow submarine ascends as it emerges splashing from the surface of the crystal clear blue waters. A mini hovercraft that was hoisted by its side - detaches itself from the yellow submarine, enough to transport 40 men, although largely filled with empty seats for now due to the casualties suffered earlier in the ambush - to an island that lies ahead of them. 

                Jackson stares silently at the empty seats without uttering a single word, imagining it filled with his fallen comrades earlier in the battle as Lucas noticed his dad deep in thoughts as he glances blindly towards the empty seats that lies across them. Lucas can visualize the pain his dad is suffering right now, after all, the sacrifice suffered today was too much to bear. As the hovercraft slides through beach in no time and makes an abrupt stop, the rebels quickly disembark themselves and head on to a vast cavern behind an immense waterfall.

                Inside, they noticed many men are quick at work and pay little heed to them. In the background of the bustling encampment, Lucas could just make out a vague shape in the darkness - of a very large creature soundly asleep within a huge metal enclosure.  

        "Is that what I think it is?"

                "Yes...indeed...son."

        "Unbelievable...they managed to capture one?"

        "Correct again...but there's no telling whether this device will work on it...but we will know soon enough." Jackson replied.

        They walked to a large makeshift camp in the center of the craggy cavern, where lots of heavy equipment and boxes scattered around - while operators works on their laptops attentively as many huge displays lights up in the background and a large hologram resembling a map lies visible before them on a large table. Jackson noticed a few burning Cyclops at a corner - while many body bags lies piling up nearby as the men seems to be stacking more of them by the minute. The Cyclops are a large and heavily armed mecha - retrofitted with two large 120mm artillery cannons and requires three crew members to operate the bestial machine alone. They are usually the rebels’ first line of defense and at times - acts also as their first line of offense due to their powerful and long range howitzers. As Jackson and Lucas takes on their surroundings, the chief of the camp approaches.         

         "Many men have perished today attempting to capture that monster." Commander Victor Lee emphasizes with a tinge of regret in his eyes as he gestures at the large creature still asleep and snoring unperturbedly in its huge iron bars.       

                 "Many men have died too trying to recover this." Jackson hinted at the black crate his son is holding. As Lucas opens it, a small black rounded metallic contraption with little antennas can be seen protruding around the device.

        "Ahh... the Neurotosk! We can finally turn the tide of the war this time...how marvelous such a small device is capable of." Victor beckons to a gorgeous lady standing nearby.

        "Natasha...do you think you could decode this?" Victor looks into the eyes of his trusty science officer.

                "Glad to give it a try." Natasha swiftly grabs hold of the valuable contraption from Lucas - almost as if she's stealing it and it nearly felt to the ground.

        "Whoa...careful over there...eager scientist."

        Natasha steals a long glance at Lucas...he knows she’s been affectionate with him for a very long time. The science officer then gleefully hurries along a short tunnel - leading to an adjoining large chamber - seemingly at joy with her new found toy.

                Victor looks on again at his old comrade. 

                "These brave men have not sacrificed in vain Jackson." As Victor pats on the general shoulders. 

                "For we will obtain victory soon enough...I hoped." Suddenly without hesitation and in approval, Jackson gave Victor a long bear hug - like old long lost couples that have not met for eons. 

                "It's good to see you again Victor...albeit all this madness that's being going on." 

                "It's good to see you too old comrade." Victor manages a smile in Jackson's seemingly crushing hug.                        "Come...your men...no all of our men need to be debriefed quickly. For I sensed Kanos will surely send everything they've got to retrieve the Neurotosk from us." warned Victor as he takes a vantage point to address his men.

                "Gentlemen...take a moment to gather around." 

        Victor paused a moment till all his men are standing before him.

        "As you may already know, Jackson here has managed to secure the Neurotosk for us!"

        The men cheered and whistled as if they have just won the grand prize of a lottery.

        "However...we must all make haste, for I am afraid we won't have much time before our enemy intends to strike on us. 

        "Let the bastards come to us!" Shouted some of the men and the others in agreement.

        Victor motions for the crowd to be silenced.

        "Indeed, our first objective has been accomplished. But our second is yet to be. Therefore as soon as we are settled for that one." Victor points towards the drugged Titanok.

        "We shall attack! the Echelon base and rescue our comrades." 

                The men cheered even louder at their beloved Commander.

        "I expect our rescue attempt will be fraught with peril and heavy resistance but with a Titanok on our side, we might pull this off without a scratch on our backs!"        

        One of the gathered man questions anxiously.

        "Sir...what if Kanos anticipates us? I mean...what if they know we are coming?"

        "Then private...this will be the quickest...shortest...fruitless damn mission of all time."

        The gathered men laughed.

 Lucas can't help but noticed many of the men were actually anxious over the Commander's remarks.

        "That may be...but we won't give up without a good fight ain't we? I say this again gentlemen...who we are?!"

        "We are the harbingers of death!"

        "Who we are?"

        "We are the fire serpents!"

        "And who do we burn?!"

        "We burn the fist and the sword that stole our freedom!"

                "Hoorah!" Victor shouted.

        "Hoorah! Hoorah!" shouted the men in unison.

        "Alright, let’s get moving people, time is short and against us."

        Everybody scrambles with renewed vigour - as they seem to know what needs to be done for now. Their leader's patriotic boost has earn the men's eagerness to work with more determination...for now.

                "Jackson, follow me. We still have more pressing issues to discuss."

        "Sure thing commander." Jackson complies.

                Both men strolled towards the waterfall while Lucas heads off towards the science division chamber in the opposite direction - through the short maze of the cavern.
