It's 2am and the sky is ever clear with glinting stars - as six Encirclers heads out to the remote island of Jakun - the rebels hideout. The Encirclers are the Kanos main attacking VTOL aircraft, capable of reaching a maximum speed of Mach 3 and able to transport a platoon of infantry and an armored vehicle or two depending on its cargo size. They maintained a hexagon formation as their combined minimal heat signature will mask them as nothing more than a fictitious whiff of a stormy cloud filled with blazing ions. As the Encirclers approach cautiously, their stealth mode is turned on and they became momentarily invisible to the radar and also to the naked eye.

                   The sentries atop the island cliff didn't even realized that the Encirclers were just right above them before it’s too late. Without warning, the Encirclers fire upon them with small precision HAMMER missiles - instantly obliterating the armed sentries. The sudden attack alerted the rebels from their sleep as they sound the general alarm. There is no need for stealth anymore - as the Encirclers keeps pumping missiles and machine guns at the disoriented rebels firing haphazardly back at them. Aboard one of the aircraft, Katrina ordered her men to disembark as they exit the cargo hatch with rope slings and semi-automatic rifles drawn. Within moments, a troop of Enforcers began to swarm the encampment; gunning down all who stood in their way; their mission was clear - to retrieve the Neurotosk at all cost. 

                 Abruptly awaken in his sleep by the alarm, Victor rushed down the tunnel and demanded answers from his scurrying men.

        "What the hell is happening son?"

        "Sir...we are being attacked by the Enforcers." A nearby officer responded anxiously. 

        "Get Jackson here! I want all our Cyclops deployed right now! We can't allow the Neurotosk to fall back into the enemy hands...do you understand me son?"

        The officer acknowledges and dashes off to Jackson's private chamber.

        "Get to it guys! We’ll send these bastards back to their homeland."

        Victor barks his orders to his subordinates as he load his T-23 semi-automatic rifle - ready for some action.

Meanwhile in the frontline, Lucas and his father were both stumped by the sudden ambush as they struggled to fend themselves from the assailment. Jackson ordered his men to provide covering fire while he asked his son to secure the Neurotosk.

        "Son...you've got to retrieve that device. We will buy you some time while you are at it."

        "No dad! I won't leave you!"

        "No you mustn’t! You know what's at stake in here! Jackson managed to gun down an approaching Enforcer before he continues..."That device is our only lottery ticket for our rescue mission. All our efforts will be in vain if we lose it now. Go and secure it son, that's an order!"

        Lucas reluctantly obeyed his father as he rushes back to the science lab as more gunfire and explosion erupts the cavern. It wasn't long before Lucas was able to locate the science division through the maze of tunnels. Natasha saw Lucas and knows what he wants - she tries to persuade him.

        "You've got to buy us some time, we are close to breaking the codex."

        Natasha begged while her budding team members frantically tries to solve the complex algorithms of the Neurotosk on their computers.

        "I am afraid time is not on our side Tasha...we really need to go now!" Lucas managed to dodged some strayed bullets as he returns fire at the perceived threat.

                "No you don't seem to understand, we need to decode the syntax in order to use it and we only have the proper equipment in here, otherwise this thing is just another piece of crap...you need to buy us more time!" a small grenade explodes nearby as both of them ducked under a table.        

        "I will only buy you 10 minutes...10 minutes Tasha! - no more!"

        "10 is fine!" agrees Natasha.

        Lucas runs back to the Cavern opening in order to fend off the oncoming onslaught. Five Cyclops are already providing covering fire for the rebels as the Enforcers tries to force their way in on the oncoming artillery barrage. Like a whip lashing their backs, Katrina ordered her men to press on their attack despite the heavy shelling from the mighty Cyclops artillery. Seeing many of her men fallen to the Cyclops bombardment, she got pissed as she grabs hold a STRYKER rocket launcher from one of her lifeless confederate and immediately fires on one of the Cyclops. The Cyclops armor are thick and resistant to small or medium arms fire, but it stood no chance against the advanced STRYKER warhead  which was designed to penetrate thicker armor. The massive Cyclops felt quickly as it took a direct hit, disintegrating into oblivion. Katrina drops another Cyclops before the rebels started to run helter-skelter. Lucas rushes forward to provide firing support - when he saw the women again who gave him his shoulder wound. They locked gaze...again...momentarily as if bounded by first love kiss, before Katrina breaks the spell and tries to shoot him...again with her AR-15 assault rifle. That really pisses off Lucas.

        "Will you quit it ma'am...what's your problem?"

        "Nothing...I just feel like shooting at you...I kinda of like it."

        Katrina expels the empty clip and reloads her deadly assault rifle as Lucas dashes and ducks behind a large boulder on the side of the cavern wall.

        "You've got a serious problem ma'am...can't we just be friends? I mean can't we just call it quits and sort this out?"

        "You think we could just be friends and walk out of this?" Katrina snorted.

        Lucas reloads his Beretta M92A1 pistol as Katrina continues to pepper him more with her 5.56mm bullets - smashing the debris out of the boulder like powdered flour splashing onto Lucas face.

        Lucas felt like a rat trapped in a corner as the beast closes in for the kill.

        "Well...can we call it a truce? Shall we ma'am?"

        As Katrina reloads again, Lucas took the opportunity to fire at her - Katrina ducks behind a wall.

        "You call this truce? Now you are shooting at me!"

        "I am just merely defending myself - You're the one who shot at me first! Remember?" Lucas grimaced at the sudden reminder of the bullet wound on his back shoulder.

        All of an instant, a flashbang grenade was thrown at Katrina's direction, she couldn't escape in time as the stun grenade explodes with a blinding flash and a loud BANG.

        Katrina slumps to the ground as a burning sensation sting her eyes and a loud ping keeps ringing in her ears - deafening her.

        "Hurry Luke, run now!" the rebel who threw the grenade beckons at Lucas.

        Lucas got up and sprang towards his comrade, as he do so he saw Katrina lying on the floor still reeling in pain from the temporary blindness and deafness. He kicked her rifle aside as he points his pistol towards her.

        "Go ahead...end it."

        Lucas hesitated before relaxing his grip on the pistol.

        "In the future, if we ever meet again...I hope it won't be like this."

        Lucas hurries along to catch up with his comrades.

        "I'll be seeing you soon...you dickhead." muttered Katrina.
