“It’s you right? Jay?” I asked.
“It is me! Someone realised! But I don't think I know you. But your voice does sound strangely familiar.” The girl a.k.a Jay said. I took out a mirror from my pocket. “Is that a mirror? Why do you have that with you?” Jay laughed.
“I’ll tell you who I am in a minute, first just look at yourself.” I said showing him the mirror. She looked at herself, smiling which quickly turned into a frown then an ‘o’ shape then she screamed. I covered her mouth so she would stop screaming.
“Why...girl?!” Jay stuttered.
“If you spoke proper english I would answer.” I replied.
“Why am I a girl?!” He shrieked
“I don't know how else to explain this to you but I revived you and you turned into a girl.” I explained.
“What?”
“Look, I’m Mina.” I revealed myself. He gasped then started laughing hysterically.
“You Mina?!” He laughed till he was clutching sides. I just stared at him the whole time, annoyed.
“You may not believe me, I could barely believe myself. But. I. Am. Mina.” I said, once he stopped laughing.
“O-ok prove it then.”
“I have my phone , my id card and my credit cards in my car.”
“You could have stolen that…” Jay reasoned.
“In elementary school we had a fake marriage.”
“Mina could have told you that-”
“I AM MINA! Ok, last one. Which I had never told a single soul in my life. And I do not plan to. You have a birthmark around your mantitties.” I smirked and Jay gasped.
“Mina has told you alot.”
“Jay-” I grunted.
“I’m kidding, but is it really you Mina? You look nothing like Mina.”
“Yeah, it’s me. I was in the same situation as you. Died, then got revived as my genderbend.”
“You died?!” He exclaimed.
“Got shot.”
“Who shot you?! Let’s tell the police now!” He said and started marching away, I scoffed grabbed him by the wrist again.
“Elliot was the murderer. But with what evidence are we going to tell the police? Look, catching Elliot and locking him behind bars is really not what I want to do right now. We need to find a place to stay before the end of the week.” I answered.
“I don’t think it is you, Mina.” Jay muttered.
“Oh my gosh! What more do I have to tell you. Should I tell you our whole lives together for you to believe me.” I groaned.
“Mina would be more ‘sophisticated’. She would definitely try to put Mr. Murderer in jail” He said. I gritted my teeth and raised my hand up to hit him.
“How can I be sophisticated right now. I was @#!%$ revived with perfume. I’m being kicked out of my @#!%$ house by my own mum, who doesn't even know where I am! I was being depressed for @#!%$ 2 days straight because my friend had just died! And I barely have any money to @#!%$ spend! Why the @#!%$ would I be sophisticated?!” I cursed at him. He looked shocked but then nodded.
“It is you Mina, when you get mad you always curse. But what do you mean you got revived with perfume?” He asked. I sighed and took the perfume bottle out of my pocket.
“This. This freaking thing that won’t break no matter how hard I tried, revived me and you.” I said, showing it to him. He took it from my hands.
“Perseus?” He read. I nodded. “So let me get this straight. You revived me with this Perfume Perseus thingamajig and for some reason I got turned into a girl! This is all too much for me.” He muttered, putting his hand over his forehead and closing his head.
“I had the same reaction as you,” I muttered.
“W-when did you get revived?” He asked.
“By who?”
“By my great grandma.” I answered. Jay laughed. “I’m not joking.” I looked at him, glumly.
“How is your great grandma alive when your grandma is dead?”
“She isn’t alive. She appeared to me in my dream…”
“Whatt… so when did I die?” He asked.
“I wasn’t alive for 4 whole days?! So, how did I die?”
“I don’t know! You ask too many questions!” I exclaimed.
“Sorry,” he pouted.
“Wait… you don’t know how you died?”
“No… The last thing I remember was getting in my car.”
“Then it must have been a car accident, right?”
“Yeah… that’s right!”
I heard people talking from afar. “We should go now…” I muttered.
“Wait, go where?” Jay asked.
“Home?”
“But how can you explain me staying at your house to your mum?”
“Huh, I didn’t think of that…”
“It’s alright, I’ll just hide if she comes.” he smiled and I sighed.
