About an hour into Jin's first shift Luna wakes up and sits next to Jin.

"Luna go back to sleep we got a lot of walking to do in the morning."

"I can't sleep I keep thinking about what happened to Toji Village..... I've never seen a dead body before let alone what we saw. How are you keep it together."

"Unfortunately seeing dead gets easier the more you see."

"You've seen a lot?"

"Well hell you saw me kill 3 demons already."

"No that's different I'm talking about humans and you know it... If you're hurting Jin you can talk to me about it... I know you have to be feeling something the way you talked about your village just the other night and then to see it destroyed you..."

"Please Luna just go back to sleep I will be fine I will."

"Ok Jin... well goodnight."

"Goodnight.... and thank you for your concern."

A few more hours pass and now it's Maya's shift and Luna wakes up again and walks to Maya and taps her on the shoulder.

"Hey Maya?"

"Aahhh!!!"

"Aahhh!!!"

"THE HELL Luna you scared me. Don't sneak up on me like that."

"Sorry I scared you."

"What are you doing up?"

"I'm not sleeping well figured we could talk."

"Sure what's up?"

"You and Jin were both raised in Toji Village how are you keeping it together?"

"I don't know about Jin but to be honest I'm barely holding it together. Only thing that is, is this is my first mission and I don't want to mess up definitely not in front of Jin."

"What's so special about Jin?"

"Jin is a legend in the village. Jin graduated the guardian training program with scores not seen since Lunalesca. He has only been a full fledged guardian for a little over a year but he was already been put on A and S class missions solo or as team leader, that's never happened before even for Lunalesca."

"Wow so that's why you knew who he was as soon as he said his name."

"Exactly and if I was to fail in front of him I don't know if I could continue."

"Yeah he is pretty impressive."

"Mhm is Ms Luna getting feelings for Mr Jin?"

"What? No no no. Nothing like that I just mean I've seen him kill 3 demons without even breaking a sweat."

"Mhm ok."

"Anyway what was he like back in the village."

"Unfortunately I didn't know him in the village he was 2 years ahead of me and while in schooling and the training program its sunup to sundown so for a good 10 years besides your parents and and teachers your classmates are the only ones you really see."

"Oh.. I just wish he would open up a little I know he has to be in pain after seeing the village like that but he refuses to talk about it."

"Well I'm sure when he's ready to talk he will. Anyway it's getting late you should probably try and get more sleep."

The Next Morning. The crew is back on the road.

"Alright guys we will be getting to the city and we need to talk about what we are going to do when we get there."

"What do you mean?"

"Well when we get back it is going to take a few days to figure out our next move."

"Well I'm going to have to go back to school."

"I don't think that's such a good idea."

"I agree. It could be dangerous."

"Look I'm going to school. I went on this adventure with you. I was willing to give up my normal life to do all this and now we are going back to my home and we don't know how long we are going to be there or what I'm going to be doing so I'm going to milk it for as long as I can. DO YOU HEAR ME?!?"

"Ok ok ok. But listen nobody and I mean NOBODY should know who Maya and I are. No one can know we are Guardians, if they do it could be a problem."

"How so?"

"Well I doubt anyone haven't noticed that we have both missed school, and would notice that we both are back at the same time plus if it got out that I'm a Guardian people will naturally link us together, could put you in danger."

"Oh. Yeah that make sense."

"Soooo I've got a question?"

"What's up?"

"So you said we are going to take a few days to figure out our next move right?"

"Yeah?"

"So if it's going to be a few days where am I going to stay?"

"Hey yeah where have you been staying Jin?"

"I mean around. There are plenty of places to camp out like we did last night."

"Oh..."

"Camp out?!? You expect Maya to camp out. No nope."

"Ok what's the problem?"

"You shut up."

"No Luna its ok I'm trained to..."

"Nope nope nope. When we get to my house we will talk to my mom."

"Um um ok."

"Ok I guess."

"Not you. You go "camp out"."

"Oh what the crap."

"You should be fine you like camping out right?"

"I don't "LIKE" camping out I just do what I have to do."

"Blah blah blah well I guess you have to we don't have room for you and Minou."

"So you are bringing home that damn cabbit but I'm camping out."

"YUUUUUP."

"Well fine I don't care. Screw it."

"Jin senpai?.?"

"No no it's fine Maya I got this."

"No no not that."

"Huh?"

"Look over there in the distance."

"What?"

In the distance coming straight at them is a huge swarm of demons.

"What in the world?"

"Oh my god!"

"What do we do?"

"Maya get ahold of yourself you are a Guardian act like one. We have two choices... either we try to get around them or go through them. If we try to go around them we might have to still fight them."

"Are you crazy look at all those demons."

"I think we have a better chance if we go through them."

"I was so hoping you would say that."
