"Have you ever tried to understand humanity, Hashidani?" asked Izumida, sitting on the roof of Shinohara's house.

"I've tried, but I decided to go to sleep, because I didn't want to think about something so complicated" replied Hashidani, streching lazily. "We can't understand humanity, Izumida. It's like trying to explain to Fukurou that his brother isn't an idiot."

"Humans are weird, you're right" Izumida nodded. "But I'm four hundred twenty eight years old and I am still learning things about humans that are beyond my comprehension. And I want to understand them. For example, why they kill each other. We, angels, also commit this unforgivable sin sometimes. Demons kill each other as well, though just as rarely as we do. And humans? Everytime in sacrish news you can hear that someone planted a bomb somewhere or entered a building with a machine gun. Someone has to explain to me, why they're doing it, because I don't understand."

"Often they're reincarnations of evil demons" sighed Hashidani. "I sometimes think that in fact, we're causing all of the evil on the world, because we're killing demons, trying to protect humans, but they're reborn as humans and we can't kill them again. Like Genpei, who tried to force Akiyatsu to kill me. He revived and stabbed his wife with a knife. It isn't normal."

"Well, it's like he killed her a second time..." added Izumida.

"What do you mean?" Hashidani blinked.

"What are you talking about?" asked Shino, looking out the window.

He climbed on the roof and looked at the angels.

"I have to ask you about two things" started Shino. "Why are you sitting here?"

"Because it's comfortable" explained Izumida.

"Oh, okay" Shino sighed. "And... The reincarnation of this demon... Genpei, right? Hasn't this demon been reborn into someone named Hitohiyo Saburou?"

"Yes, you're right" nodded Izumida.

"Oh, I can understand now, why he was such a monster" sighed Shinohara. "And now you should leave my roof. People will see you and they could notice these lights over your heads."

"These lights have a name" said Hashidani, standing up. "They're halos."

"Halos or not, people will see you" said Shino. "And then you'll never be able to eat yogurt in peace, sitting next to Izumida on the couch and then fall asleep with your head on his shoulder and listen to a lecture in the morning, how heavy your head is, angel."

"Alright, alright" Hashidani sighed, jumping off the roof.

"And do you understand people, Yamiyoru?" Izumida asked the angel standing by the wall, when he was on the ground.

"Have you ever tried to explain to Fukurou that his brother isn't an idiot?" replied Yamiyoru.

Hashidani laughed.

"Poor Kujaku, everyone seems to know about their conflict" he said. "And I tried to explain to Izumida that understanding humans is something that we can't do. I even used the exact same comparison. But that's Mida. He always knows best."

Izumida looked at Hashidani, obviously angry. Shino just shook his head.

"Another good old marriage" said Akumarou, smiling a little.
