And the flowers heads slightly tilted
Like that of one sent to the gallows
They stand alone near the river shallow
But as I look there seems to be something more
Something forgotten that must be explored
That which can no longer be ignored
Something that should be kept hid no more
Through the blackened water I traveled
In my head a piece of the mystery began to unravel
The dirt around the tower was like a shore
The river must have been something more in the days before
A larger body of water
That must have once completely surrounded this ancient tower
Protecting it from the world's darkest hours
