I look around for the big truck that took my family from me. I see the marks it left on the road and a piece of the hood including the license plate. But the person driving it and the truck is gone. I tremble as get my back pack from the back seat trying not to look at Dina's body. I think I would be good to bring the license plate with me. I put it in my bag and give mommy a kiss on her forehead like she did every morning. "Goodbye mama. I can't stay with you any longer. I got to find you help." I say my goodbyes and head up the road. When I get back to town, I'm really tired and dizzy. I go Into a gas store. " Excuse me my mommy and sister have injury's and need help." The guy at the counter looks down at me and hands me a phone. I look at the screen and see the man has dialed 911. The police officer asks me some questions the hangs up. I hand the phone back to the man at the counter and sit at a bench. The police officer arrives at the gas store and takes me to a doctor. The nice doctor checks me over and even gives me a lollipop. "Can you wait here I need to go talk to the officer for a moment?" The nice doctor looks sad. "I can wait here." I answered him. I watch as the nice doctor walks out and closes the door behind him. My curiosity gets the best of me and I go put my ear against the door. "...ooked him up his only family died in the crash. We're going to have to put him in an orphanage.' the nice doctor doesn't seem nice as he says this. I here them coming and quickly go sit back on the chair. "For now your going to be staying at a new home." The police officer doesn't waist words as he tells me of my fate.
In a place with so many, I'm always alone.
Damion's mom died when he was 9 and he has been on his own sense.
Can the love of his angel save him, when he doesn't even know it's there.
