My caseworker is an ok guy. He arrives and smiles at me. I get in the passenger side of the car. He hands me my Sprite. Every time I got moved he would bring me a Sprite. He had been doing it since my first home didn't work out. "So why did you get moved this time?" He asks with a playful smile. "That old lady has a stick up her ass, and she didn't appreciate catching me with a guy." My caseworker smiles in understanding. He was the first one to know I prefer guys. Out of anyone in the world he was the only one I felt like telling.
"Ok well your new home is a little different this time, you'll have a foster brother." They couple who was going to foster me this time already has a foster kid? I wonder if he's cute. "No. Stop with that look you can't hook up with your new foster brother. It's weird." He knows me so well. "No promises."
When we arrive I see why they would foster two. The house is huge. I grab my bag and get of the car. I head to the front door right before I knock the door opens. A couple stands in the door way with big smiles. "You must be damion." They wave me inside and show me my room. "This is where you'll be staying. Did your caseworker tell you that you will have a brother?" The man asks. "Yeah he told me it's cool." I try to sound convincing. I like this house and don't want to get moved right away. "Wonderful. Well your brothers door is right next to yours so if you need something and can't find us you can always ask him." Right then the door she was pointing at opened.
In a place with so many, I'm always alone.
Damion's mom died when he was 9 and he has been on his own sense.
Can the love of his angel save him, when he doesn't even know it's there.
