A little later Ceria groan lightly, feeling the camper no longer moving, and blinked as shelooked up at the ceiling. She yawned sitting up looking out of the small window seeing it was night once again and pulled on a pair of faded black boots and armed herself with a make shift dagger, hidingit on the backside of her belt in the holder she had made. Ceria finally stretched and started toward the front of the camper, slowlychecking on things, seeing the new comers bag and rolled her eyes before grabbing a bottle of water and taking a drink. Cerias mindwandered to the list they had made for extra supplies. She picked up a pair of goggles and placed them around her neck as she leaned onthe make shift table, takin in a breath. She blinked seeing thestrange green and white fire outside with few people sitting around it, two of the three campers surrounded them taking in a breath sighing feeling the same thing she felt each time they stopped, itwas a mix of adventure and fighting for her life. Ceria reached up ina box finding a small mirror and smirked looking in to it smiling her face reminding her whose daughter she was and how never to give up.She jumped hearing her Uncle Burt call for Fawn his daughter and then sighed again watching a couple of people gather around the bonfire smirking and quickly putting up the mirror.
Ceria walked toward the passenger side sitting down before grinning and grabbing the gun out of the holster, checking it and then putting it back, making sure she hadammo with her and then tightening the thigh strap, walking out. Helia called to Ceria and waved as she walked out of her camper the large woman grinned and dusted off the large tee shirt and vest she wore asher son Raven ran a hand over his short black hair and flexed his biceps slightly grinning at his mother pulling a shirt over his bare muscular chest. He wiped his hands off on his jeans belting his vestholster to himself watching me pass grinning alittle as they started over . Her uncle burt and Fawn where talking to my father and Jet as Fawn giggled seeing Jet looking past her toward Ceria who was walking toward the fire pulling up her hair in to a pony tail.
Jet stopped talking as my father looking to where he was looking, seeing his daughter walking toward them and smirked. Jet grinned as the fire lit her form up and made her look like she was on fire. Her father’s face lit up as he sat on a milk crate and looked at her, nudging Jet as she approached. Jet straightened up looking her up one way and then the other seeing howshe had stopped beside the fire, looking rather attractive. A small smirked formed on Jet lips and quickly adjusted himself when no onewas looking, feeling really awkward and chuckling, looking back up ather as she stood there for a moment looking at the device she had. He felt goose bumps form over his skin as he looked down and licked hislips. Standing, letting her have the seat next to her father. Ceria looked at him for a minute before smirking at him and sitting down ashe grinned a little and then glanced over at the ground next to him.
Jet took in a few breaths trying to calm himself down unsure why he was feeling odd and wishing it wasjust him and her there instead of the rest, groaning quietly at the day dream and shook his head trying to suppress the feeling. Burt looked over at her rubbing his graying beard glancing over at the guysitting on the ground and chuckled seeing how the man was acting when he saw Ceria and grinned. God Damn Roy, what happen to Ceria, she looks like she has been growing without old Uncle Burt knowing. Ceria grinned at him as he tossed a MRE to her. Burt’s daughter Fawn sat straighter, pulling her blonde hair up off of her neck. She brushed her jeans off and then straightened out her tank, glancing at the guy man sitting next to Ceria and then to the fire.
Ceria grinned as she caught theMRE and opened it, pulling the matches out and putting them in her pocket before speaking. “How ya been Uncle Burt and wow Fawn I might have to loan you cloths.” Burt looked at her and grinned.“Doing better now that you are here, angel face and Fawn hasn’t stopped talking about you.” He said as he handed her a key ring that had three small metal puzzles hanging from it as she dug in her other pocket and pulled out the one he had given her the last time they stopped and untangled it, he grinned at her and whispered to her. “This one is a little harder than the last one I gave you. I can’t figure them out” Ceria smiled and nodded as Fawn pipped up.“I can’t fit in to your cloths yet, Ceria, but maybe I can borrowa shirt or two.” Fawn blushed looking over at raven who was the same age she was and looked back down blushing.
Ceria looked at the puzzles and grinned, putting it in her pocket as Burt stood and cleared his throat watching the newcomer and then looking to the others. Jet looked over at her next to him, wishing almost it was just me and him sitting there together, while she started looking in the bag at what she had to eat. He took in a quiet breath, looking behind him and grabbing a bottle of water before turning and nudging her knee. Ceria jumped a little and looked toward him as he offered her the water. Ceria smirked a little, taking it as she blushed slightly, turning back toward Burt as he went on about the camp 50 up. Jet looked down grinning feeling eyes on him and looked back upseeing Fawn looking at him and grinning seeing what he had done and looked down.
Burt stood there for a momen tbefore taking in a breath and speaking. “Ok, we have a small group of refugees up ahead, about 50 miles, however, what is the status onthe supplies. Ceria grumbled and pulled out the piece of paper from her top Jet smirking looking down as her tank pulled a little showing her chest off more. She unfolded it, looking over the supplies, and divided and added, then grumbling as she handed it over to her father, who laughed a little and spoke to Burt. “We have a new member, so our list is going to be a little more than the rest.”Burt nodded as ceria finished a cracker and drank some water, pulling up the headphones and turning them on, but quiet enough that she could still hear Burt. Fawn finally stood and walked to Ceria sitting next to her and nudged her, as Ceria handed over the small package of crackers and Fawn took one. Burt looked over the list and then overat Jet who was sitting on the ground next to Ceria smoking a cigarette, staring in to the green fire with tired eyes. “You’re Jet. Rina’s son? Right?” Jet looked at him and shook his head slightly. Burt nodded as he spoke again. “Wheres Rina and your brother?” Jet looked down and shook his head. Um, they were taken by the static back a year ago. Jet said quietly as the group sitting around the fire took a moment of silence while Burt shook his head and looked him over. “Wow… I am sorry son, Don’t worry Roy andCeria will take good care of you as long as you do your part anddon’t aggravate Ceria too much.”
Roy nodded as Ceria looked over at him, blinking before smirking and standing up, tossing the rest of her MRE to Jet. Jet looked up at her gently touching her forearm making her stop and look down at him a sly grin on his lips as he spoke. “Um thank you Ceria.” Ceria looked at him slightly taken back hearing him speak to her making her swallow seeing his grin, her ears turning red. She huffed quietly and shook her head before she grabbed three flares from Burt, who grinned, handing her the list she had back. Fawn piped in “She will shoot you if you piss her off too and she is a hell of a shot I can tell ya that Jet.” Fawn stood and walked over to ceria standing next to her. Jet smirked at them and then shook his head, looking at Fawn, a sly grin playing on his lips as he stood and faced us. Fawn blushed brightly getting behind me a little, looking down as she kept her eyes locked on his as they began slowly softening, a little afraid of Jet. Ceria looked behind her seeing Fawn still trying to stare down Jet, making her smirk sighing looking back at Jet as hespoke “Don’t worry I am harmless just trying to survive out here just like the rest of you. Names Jet” Jet put his hand out for hers as she looked down at it and back up to him turning from him. Roy looked over at Ceria as she chuckled and shook her head, pulling the goggles from her neck to the top of her head, pushing her hair behind her ear and checking her clip as she slowly rolled her neck. Roy swallowed, looking at the fire for a moment and back at his daughter, knowing she wasn’tabove killing someone outright.
Roy watched her for a moment longer, knowing he may need to step in, and then glanced to Jet. He watched him as Jet shook off the warning Fawn had given him and nodded, looking back in the fire and spoke looking right at her. “Um Ceria, let Jet go with you. He might be better cover if the Static gets wind of refugees looking for supplies.” Ceria pulled the headphones off and handed them to Fawn, who put them on listening to the music but turning it off, hoping there wouldn’t be another fight. Ceria looked at her father as Jet dusted himself off, a smug grin on his face now, and stood up. Fawn looked over at Jet, sliding behind Ceria a little. Ceria frowned, looking up abruptly at her father “I have done this more than a thousand timesand Raven always goes with me, so I will be fine cause he can always run for help.” Raven looked over at her and scowled as he got up, moving past Jet eyeing him a little and grabbed a few of the flaire holding them there fuming. “Thanks Ceria.. there were many times I didn’t run to get help.” Raven nodded as he walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder before speaking again. “And who helped who normally?” she sighed as she pulled a cigarette out and lit it, taking a drag. “I do, and you say thank you. Feel better now?” she asked annoyed tired of Ravens stupid flirting as he nodded, his ego inflating as she pushed his arm off her shoulders.
Fawn frowned seeing raven gushing over me and walked back over to her father burt and sat next to him as Raven whispered to Ceria as he glanced behind her checking her butt out and smriking. “ I could have thanked you in another way too ya know." Raven Grinned smuggly as Ceria turned giving him a discused frown “Don’t get cocky there chicken boy.” She said as Her father looked at her and sighed. “Please Ceria, Jet seemslike he is pretty capable of going and pulling his weight too, which would take some of the work off of you. Burt cleared his throat as he spoke. “ and a lot of the buildings are almost dangerous to goin to due to the acid rain that falls , not to mention someone diedfalling through the floor boards and getting impaled on one of the pipes. Helia looked over at burt and shook her head speaking up. “don’t listen to these old farts ceria, I know you will be alright, but really you should take Jet so we don’t bore him with idle conversation we already bore poor fawn here. . fawn adjusted the bag on ceria’s back as she listened to them talk . fawn sighed sitting back down next ot her father, leaning her head on his shouder. I frowned at Raven as he took a step forward now next to me beaming and spoke eww stop. I pulled from him looking down, Jet smirked alittle watching the scene as he waited with all intentionsof going whether she liked it or not.
Ceria sighed and spoke fine…fine he can go. Roy chuckled a little as Jet smirked as Ceria swallowed slightly as she tossed Jet a set of goggles, watching him catch them. Jet smirked and shook his head no as he handed them to Fawn and pulled out his pair of dark sunglasses. Ceria rolled her eyes as he brushed his dark hair back and looked at her, placing a hand on his gun. Ceria smirked amused at his cocky gesture not hating it but there was no time for being foolish. Fawn leaned toward Ceria whispering “is he trying to look like a bandit”Ceria watched him as he stood there waiting putting a cigarette between his lips reaching for his lighter. Ceria smirked lighting it for him and taking it starting away calling back “Coming or what?” Fawn looked over at Ceria surprised to see her smirk. Ceria chuckled, looking him over for a minute, and nodded as she started away. Raven frowned, running a hand over his hair and handed Jet a bag, not happy that Jet was going. Raven glared at him and turned following Ceria placing his large hand on the small of her back, looking back and glaring at Jet. Helia looked over at Roy who shook his head knowing that Raven was in love with Ceria, but Ceria wanting nothing to do with it. Jet grinned as he shook his head, seeing that Raven may be a problem if things continue progressing like they were.
