Chapter Two:
Welcome to the Beast Pig Hills
As they set out, Yen thought of all the cool things she was gonna do! There were not only giant Beast Pigs, but also amazing food, arcades, roller coasters, and more! Yen was not just excited for Beast Pig Hills, but the journey there was half the treat! The pigeons soaring through the sky, wind blowing in her face, Tako and Yen trying to eat the clouds. Those were the good old days.
“ARE WE THERE YET?!?!” Yen cried. The wind was so loud that you had you yell at the top of your lungs so that the other person could even get an IDEA of what you were trying to say. As the pigeon sored down, the crowd of people parted from the landing area.
“WOW!” Yen exclaimed, “Has the lines always been so long?!?” Ten HUGE lines of people were in rows, two of which were for private passes and workers. Yen, her mom, and her grandpa went in the fourth line and waited for about an hour, until, finally, they were only five minutes away from entering the Beast Pig Hills. Yen tried to look past the registering booths, but she could not see anything besides a ferris wheel and another tall ride that she did not understand the physics of.
To get to the Beast Pig Hills, they had to pay twenty three pinecoins per adult over sixteen, and twelve pinecoins per minor sixteen or under. Seniors were also twelve. So it was a total of forty six pinecoins for all of them.
“Welcome to Beast Pig Hills,” said a purple toad sitting at the booth, “if you would like to register an underground apartment, you may not get any level above five, for they are all taken. Then again, another popular spot is the very bottom level, for you may see the Beast Pigs whilst they are in their caves. You may also feed them, but going up to the surface for non-free time classes is going to take a while.”
Yen’s mom looked at her daughter. “I think we should get a room at bottom level!” The toad burped out a response
“Alrighty here is your room key and here is your Beast Pig guide book. The toad pulled out a big book with a Beast Pig on the cover. Yen couldn't wait to read it!
As they stepped past the annoying toad guy, the smell of fresh and roasted spinach filled the air. People laughing, roller coasters spinning. Yen loved it all! As they entered their room, the wonderful smell of Beast Pig Hills hotel room wacked Yen in the face. Yen always wondered why they smelled that way.
She took the book out of her bag and flipped to the
agenda page. The Beast Pigs would go to Beast Pig Hills to be trained. They would do classes such as rock climbing, foraging. Sometimes, they would have free time, which was when Yen would get to feed the Beast Pigs.
She wondered when they would arrive so she went to the beginning of the agenda.
