Five days. That how long it has been since Enzo fell sick. Five days that's how long that I have been going crazy. Even though Enzo looks like he is getting better and his fever has gone down he still has not woke up. He looks like he is in a coma. When he first fell ill he moved a lot when he slept. That was mostly because of his nightmares. Now, he doesn't move at all he just lays there so still that it is frightening.
Today is the day of the Alpha meeting. Thankfully I was hosting it so I did not have to leave Enzo to attend. The Alpha meet is when all the Alphas in this region get together and discuss topics such as pack health, income, and rogue activity. We, Alphas have this meeting every month and it is held at a different place each time. This time the meeting is here.
It was exhausting setting up the board room for the meeting. Being busy like this has helped take a lot of stress away. The other Alphas were not supposed to show up for another hour or so. "Lycos!" Nate looked at me out of breath. "Alpha's June, Xander, and Levi have just arrived." GOD DAMN IT, Those stupid competitive, overachieving oafs. I took off to greet them.
June, Xander, and Levi were all in the common room. Just as I expected they were arguing about who got here first. All three of them were dear friends of mine who had an overwhelming sense of competition. "Boys, boys... You all lost I was the first one here." They all looked at me and smiled. "Hey," They all said at once. I'm glad I got here before they started roughhousing. Ugh... Shivers ran down my spine. Imagine my whole common room would be destroyed.
We spent some time walking around the house talking. Enjoying ourselves. "I'm bored," Levi complained. Okay, maybe we weren't enjoying ourselves, but it's those oaf's fault they decided to show up so early. "Let's go trash Lycos' room," one of the guys said. "NO!" It was already too late they were dashing up the stairs to my room leaving me to run after them.
When I finally got to my room I discovered the guys surrounding my bed. Staring at Enzo. "Hey... Lycos? Who is this," one of the guys said? I ignored the question as my eyes focused on Xander touching Enzo's head. Quick enough to make your head spin I removed Xander's hand and growled at him. "Hey, man relax!" While I was busy glaring and growling at Xander. Levi thought it to be funny and pick Enzo up. "LEVI, PUT MY GOD DAMN MATE DOWN BEFORE I TEAR YOUR HEAD OFF!!!" Levi put Enzo down and backed away from the bed. Xander and June followed his lead.
Enzo wasn't supposed to be moved or touched really because we didn't know if it would worsen his condition. Stupid fools. Not really having a choice I moved Enzo to the center of the bed and covered him up again. "Xander, Levi, June please head down to the board room. The others have begun to show up" "Alright," they said in unison. I watched as they left the room. As they left my anger began to fade. When I was calm I left the room too.
"Dude, I heard Alpha Lycos yelling..."
"Yeah..."
"You messed with his..."
"No way..."
As I got closer to the board room I could hear the Alphas talking (more like gossiping) about what happened and the condition of my mate. I entered the room and it fell silent. I looked around the room. Everyone was here. I took my spot at the head of the table. "Alright, now that everyone is here let begin."
The meeting went by slowly. All I wanted to do was check on Enzo. "Lycos!" Alpha Green yelled. "Uh... Yes, sir sorry" "As I was saying my pack and I have noticed that rogue activity was been going up and other packs were saying the same thing. Have you noticed anything?" "No... wait yes. Nate and Natalie told me they have seen multiple rogues heading west." "Okay, that does it. Everyone needs to be on alert there is a chance that the rogues are gathering."
The rest of the meeting went by fairly fast. Soon all the Alpha's began to leave. Xander, June, and Levi before they left apologized for what happened and so did I. I should not have lost my temper like that. The rest of the day went by slow with me spending a lot of time in the room with Enzo.
I thought over today's occurrences and every time the rogue thing popped up my hair stood up. Every instinct I had was telling me to be on the lookout that something was about to happen.

POV- 3rd person

Throughout the land rogues everywhere were dashing toward the western mountains. All of them hungry for bloodshed. In their wake, they left trails of corpses. Each wolf had eyes that would haunt you for life and if they saw you in the woods alone it would be the last time anyone saw you.
A dark grey wolf heading toward the mountains spots a young male. The wolf grins and attacks him. Covered in blood the wolf trots off leaving the corpse for the family to find.
The diabolical wolf gathering the others stood still planning to watch as his numbers begun to rise. If he didn't get the numbers he needed his plan from the other night wouldn't work.
Alpha's everywhere could feel the deep shiver in their bones. Beta's could taste the danger in the air and the other wolves could feel the tension and anxiety. Each one could feel it. Each one knew something was coming their way.
Enzo sick in bed reliving his nightmare over and over again felt a chill run up his spine. Trouble was coming.

POV- Enzo

-- Enzo stood in the middle of a room. This was the same dream as every other time, but something was different. Something was off. The was light coming from a door he had never seen before and his other self was not here with him. Slowly he approached the door that produced the light. Enzo touches the door and is transferred to a field deep in the woods. "Enzo," a lady in white called. She touched his shoulder and his fear disappeared. "We need to talk," she stated calmly.
Enzo felt calm with the lady in white. He felt safe very safe and loved. The last thing she said to him before she disappeared was "Free yourself from the past and follow your heart"--
