"We're almost there"

I woke up to Alex's voice. It was like light entering my nightmare, dispelling the darkness. I broke free of that nightmare. Then I saw lights being shined into my eyes, and that’s when I knew, we were approaching the WRS’ main headquarters.

When we entered WRS, we were all very impressed! All the labor was done by robots. To not cause casualties in case 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧... I took a sketchbook along with me to draw everything that existed here. I paid attention to every single detail, and, since we had to stand in a line before we could go explore the lab because our teachers had to take attendance, I had more time to draw.

--MEANWHILE—

"Daniel it’s too risky, we already have three casualties",

"We can't risk everything for this, we can do this later."

Daniel changes his expression from frustration to happiness and shouts to the rest of his gang...
"If someone wishes to save humanity from itself by playing God, then the world has already ended."
"Now, whoever comes with me will not die from the virus, because anyway, we all need to choose our sides now, or we are going to die.”
"So, who's with me?",

As he raises his hand in the air, the rest of his gang do the same

~DENON'S VIEW~

"Anyway class, that's all for attendance. Please be careful and don't break anything!"

"Have fun!"

And the teacher finished telling us the rules.

I and Alex discuss what to do first. Alex makes up this great plan. So, instead of buying things when we're hungry, we will buy everything at once, except lunch. Alex wanted to go to the specimen mutation department because Alex wanted to see how they made "cool" animals "cooler" in his terminology.

"Denon, I have to go to the toilet."

"Come back soon."

"I’ll be waiting right here."

I started to look around while I was waiting since I was so excited. I came across a room labeled “HUMAN GENE IMPROVEMENT” and went in. I wanted to see how they could alter the DNA of humans to improve the capabilities of the human Immune System. I entered the room, but nobody was there. I opened doors to search for someone to explain this concept to me or, even better, scientists who worked on this project might be able to explain it. I opened the door to my right.

Th-there w-wa-was bl-blo-𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 EVERYWHERE! On the floors, walls, and even the desks, EVERYWHERE! I tried to calm myself down instead of hyperventilating and fainting. I tried to call someone on the other side of the room, but I could only hear grunts responding back to me. I finally decided to try calling someone, but my phone wasn’t working here, and the tag which my teachers had given me wasn’t working either, so, I couldn't leave the room.

I had to try to make myself think that it was all a prank. Alex or somebody else in my class was doing this. I wore a suit designed to keep out poisonous gases that might harm me through contact with my skin, and I entered the blood spread room, hoping someone alive would be there. I tried calling out again, hoping someone will respond, but the only sounds I heard were the grunts of a creature that I couldn't recognize. I tried to find the source of the grunts since I expected it to be an animal and it might lead me to an exit of some sort. But it wasn't an animal...
                                                                                                                 IT WAS A MONSTER...

Its eyes were red with blood lust, and its skin was as dark as charcoal. It had a dark aura coming off it, and it had fangs like a saber tooth tiger’s, with bloodstains on them...

as if they were recently dipped in
                                                          BLOOD...
