“No!” I screamed, struggling to break free from the soldier’s grasp. I was witnessing an invasion from Labia, an enemy country. My father -King Roland- was loosing a fight between him and Silas, a traitor behind the invasion. “Haha! Father’s love for his son is a precious thing indeed,” Silas laughed. “But nothing lasts forever.”
The King was looking at me before Silas stabbed him. The king dropped his sword and collapsed on the bloody floor. “Daddy? Daddy!” I yell. The soldier let go of me as I ran over to mt father's body. “Sky...Live on. You need to...stop him. You have to,” he said to me, before he stopped moving. I shake him but he doesn’t move or respond, he redeemed himself. I should be grateful for that, instead I’m sobbing in grief. “Oh, what a tender moment.” Silas smiled. The same soldier restrained me again as I hold back tears. Silas looked at me and smiled evily, “Now, let’s have King Mark deal with you.”
And just like that, everything changed.
