I didn’t answer. He looked at me bored “Oh come on sorry for kidnapping you and all but it doesn’t mean you should hate me or anything.”

“You kidnapped me! I am allowed to be annoyed and mad!” I scream making him jump. 

“I said sorry.” his voice was full of...humor? Great! I am stuck with some idiot.  “You should get up, your legs need to move or you may never walk again.”

I stood up. He was probably at least a few inches shorter than me but I am very tall so that was not a surprise anyways. He kinda tried to stand up taller because I was tall. 

“Why are you so tall?” he asks, annoyed.

“Because I am?” I say confused. 

“Fine whatever.” He glares at me.

“You are not scary, you know?” The person behind him snorts. 

“His ego is too big to admit it.” The person turns around to show brilliant blue eyes and a thin figure. Their hair is brown and ends at their waist. “Talia.” She puts her hand in front of her to shake mine. 

I looked her up and down so I could see her weakness, she didn't seem guarded.

She smiles and turns back around and works. Zeke is still glaring at me. I stayed guarded and tried to be quiet. 

He dragged me to a different room where the lights were dimmed, quit a bit 

“Why are the lights so dark here and bright in the other room!” I asked annoyed

“I dunno, it just is like that.” He answers as we continue walking. 

I eventually open my eyes and allow them to adjust. The room is a hallway. Wow I am so ‘smart’ I think. I keep walking to a door. 

“Is this a very bright or dark room?” I asked

“Depends on where you look I guess.” He answers

“What does that even mean!?” I asked

“Well the room is where you get ‘chosen for the next point in life'’' He said at the end as if he were quoting someone sarcastically. 

“Wonderful, that doesn't answer my question.”

“Are you always this cranky?”

“ When I get kidnapped I get a little cranky.”

“Oh, why?” 

“I am not answering that.”

“Okay fine, being kidnapped isn’t very fun and usually the people are rude and want something, but I am at least funny and calm and I don’t want anything from you.” He says. 

“You're weird, and definitely not calm.” I point out

“Okay you got me there. But you are rude.” 

“ I'm not when I am not being kidnapped!” 

“I didn't have a choice but to kidnap you cause you almost found the ‘new dimension’ Florence and Patience Golden founded a very long time ago. And then I would have had to kill you so… you got lucky.”

“Lucky!? Lucky!”

“Your sister was much calmer than you.” 

“ yeah? She fainted didn’t she?”

“Yes. She isn’t unconscious anymore, she is in orange practicing.” 

“These places are named after colors?” I asked

“Yes.” 

“Where am I?” I shouted 

“Don’t shout this is a small hallway.” He glares at me. “You are in a different dimension.”

“Does that dimension have a name?” 

“Not really...I never thought of it. I don’t know.” 

“How long have you been here?”

“About 5 years? Which is 10 years your time.”
