Annshera returned to Seld Jake. It was very rare she was feeling the need to come back in her birth place, the Lochs. She learned to swim here with her father Sharid Kashaam. She wondered how he would feel if he had known she went to Mermaidise. He would laugh loudly then hug her, very proud. She ate her sandwich wile agitating her bare feet in the water. She had an unpleasant feeling, something was touching her feet. All of the sudden, a head emerged from the water. “Annshera !” She recognized this singular voice and those dark and grey hair, Gyldaen ! She made it out alive !

“Gyldaen ! You live ! You’re alive !”

“I’m back Annshera !”

“I’m so relieved and so happy ! I thought I would never see you again.”

“I was scared. Everything was so dark but I found my way back.”

“We never gave up on you. What did you do after ?”

“I came back in Mermaidise. Krysalinda adopted me, I live there now, as a real mermaid. I have been named Mermaid emissary. I still have my Ascian powers but it’s that a good cause now, allowing me to travel to the world as emissary.”

Gyldaen teleported one of Annshera’s sandwich and swallowed it. Annshera remainded speechless few seconds, mouth opened then frankly laughed. She stroke Gyldaen’s head. “ I’m so proud of you.”

Gyldaen snuggled against Annshera. Peacefully they enjoyed this moment of calm and tenderness. It had been short though, another person came out of the Lake. “Linda !”

Indeed the Mermaid queen herself came all the way to Mermaidise to visit Annshera. She materialized human legs to get out of the water.

“We are finally reunited, the three of us.”

“Linda, can Annshera go with us a little ?”

“Yeah sure, you need to turn me.”

“Yes !”

Together, they dove in the water. Carefree and happy to be reunited, they crossed many seas of world, enjoying each other presence. They will be forever bond by friendship, a human, a mermaid and an ascian.
