The commanding tone of the Chairman of BaekShin Group made the tension in the room thicken even more.

Baek Rosee from force of habit began to nervously pick at her acrylic pink fingernails.

"Mom..."

On seeing this, Baek Hari sent his mother a look full of worry as he took a seat at the board table.

"Hari do not cross your grandfather....he is not an easy man to handle."

Rather than answering her son, the madam of BaekShin Group in a voice laden with sadness,  warned her son not to step out of line with her father-in-law.

"This wouldn't have happened if he would stop playing favorites!"

The second in line for successor at BaekShin Group found a way to make excuses for his actions. Baek Rosee shook her head disapprovingly at her son, feeling at a loss on what else to say to him.
