We were all sitting next to each other on the couch, quietly, trying to understand what just happened. 

“So… what now?” I asked, breaking the silence. What now? It was a question ringing through my head. With the two headless space soldiers in the kitchen (by my unexpectedly strong mother) we had no idea what was going to happen next.

"What now? It's obvious we have to think of a plan to defeat this weird… thing!” exclaimed Xion springing up from his place. 

"Sit your ass down boy, isn't it obvious what we are up against, soldiers brought to us by the GOVERNMENT to -with no shame- kill the citizens of NOLLA!” said mother.

I, of course, felt Xion's idea of making a plan amazing but mother, of course, thought differently.  

So now, we were at the beginning again. What do we do? What now? Well I didn't have to think about that for a long time because I now had another question.

Why did the power go out?

It wouldn't have been such a big question if the power in the streets didn't go out too. The flying mobile cars stopped and all the street lamps were off. 

RING RING!

"Crypta! Are you in there?! I heard strange noises! Are you ok?!” It was our neighbour. I am quite surprised she rang the doorbell when there is no door. Actually, I wasn't really surprised. Xihop was a very caring and friendly person. She (as others) was very afraid of mother but with Xihop's small character and determination to make friends with mother because of mother's stern character, she managed to get closer to mother than any of us could. Even though, most of the time she gets on mother's nerves because of it. 

"Why on earth would you scare me like that, I've heard enough doorbells for today!” said mother getting off the couch and walking to the door to Xihop.

“I heard strange noises from one of the apartments, I just had to make sure you were safe as you are one of my closest friends” said Xihop.

“Closest friend my ass! But it's good that you are here. Have you seen what's been happening outside. Crazy shit I tell you that!” said mother, "but you don't even know what happened here. Soldiers busted our door and almost tried to kill us but let me tell you no man, woman or even non-gendered person can beat a woman like me!”

I think Xihop blinked about 200 times trying to take that all in. She smiled and glanced at the soldiers in the kitchen, "Well, of course, not even a bull could go against you. I was actually really scared coming out of my apartment with all those noises outside, it just seemed so unsafe with all the noises and the sky turning red."

"Mother said that it is the government trying to get rid of all Nollaians and that this isn't-"

"You sure do talk a lot girl!" Mother said glaring at me. I looked down at the floor.

CODE *6189 ATTENTION ALL CITIZENS OF NOLLA. YOU MAY ALL BE A BIT WORRIED ABOUT THE STRANGE THINGS OCCURRING AT THIS MOMENT BUT LET ME ASSURE YOU THAT IF YOU STAY PUT AND RELAXED ALL WILL BE FINE. THANK YOU.

We could hear more shrieks and cries after this message. I could see

"I can't believe this! They tell us to stay put and relax when there are space soldiers trying to explode off our heads!" Exclaimed mother, picking up her bag.

"Woah mum where are you going!" Said Xion, pulling her backwards.

"You should be careful Crypta, it would be better to stay with the children rather than getting over your head!" Now Xihop was pulling mother back too while I was watching my angry mother almost exploding with anger.

"Let go! I'll fix this mess so that I can go back to drinking beer and watching tv without all this mess!".
