Frail blooms collapsing like a warrior in defeat

The soil tossed and turned

I could see something buried and burned

Examining the place where it was at

I began uncovering the artifact

A charred wooden doll

With a worn engraving of the letter "A"

This doll has seen better days

I wonder how it found this place

I dug around

Seeing what could be found

Digging down

I found something more than I wish to see
