Making their way through the hallways the two spotted a group of people heading for the alpha's office.

Riley's eyes widened at the assortment in front of them.

"That's the beta, gamma and delta, basically all of the packs officers, if they're heading for my dad's office, things could be much worse than we suspected." Riley explained.

They made their way to the kitchen and pulled ingredients for sandwiches out of the fridge, made their food and sat at the table, slowly munching their food.

Alex could clearly see the apprehension on Riley's face and desperately wanted to comfort him.

He pushed his chair out and made his way round the table, sitting in the chair next to him and wrapping his arm around Riley.

It took a couple of minues but Alex visibly saw Riley begin to relax.

"Thanks, i needed that." he sighed, leaning his forehead into the crook of his boyfriends' neck.

"Any time, i will always be here for you whenever you need me." Alex murmured into his ear.

Riley turned his head just enough to brush his lips softly against the other boys, barely even a kiss, more like a mingling of breath.

They sat for another minute then got up to clear off the table and clean up their plates.

They entwined their fingers and strode through the halls, headed for bed.

A pile of boxes greeted the two as they entered the room, a combination of the two's things that had been left behind at the cabin.

They pushed the boxes to the side of the room, they couldn't be bothered dealing with it at this moment.

Alex showered first, changing into a t-shirt and shorts, ready for bed.

Riley followed suit but came back in only his boxers.

Alex flushed at the sight.

Riley noticed, "What? this is how i sleep, not just a show for you." he grinned then leant down towards Alex's ear.

"But it can be just for you if you like." he whispered huskily.

Alex felt like his heart was going to tear itself out of his chest it was beating so furiously, the red on his cheeks deepened and he lost the ability to form a coherent sentence.

Riley chuckled and settled into the bed and leaned over to Alex for a good night kiss.

Riley was incredibly surprised when Alex rolled over and pulled Riley closer, fitting his large frame against Riley's.

Riley wasn't going to complain, he just snuggled in closer, enjoying the moment, taking in deep whiffs of Alex's shampoo and body wash, everything that just screamed Alex.

Riley noticed a shift in Alex's breathing, which became deeper and more even, he had fallen asleep with him pressed to his chest.

Riley was far from uncomfortable in this situation however, he found himself incredibly happy at that moment.

He closed his eyes and drifted off into deep, dreamless slumber.

Alex woke up first, slowly gazing around the room, remembering everything that had happened.

He looked down at Riley, who had shifted in the night and was curled around Alex with his face pressed against Alex's chest.

Alex watched adoringly as the other boy slowly found his way out of sleep and back into the waking world.

Riley sat up and yawned, before looking up at Alex.

Riley suddenly realised the position they were in and his cheeks quickly turned scarlet.

"morning babe" Alex said softly.

"Morning" Riley mumbled, barely able to get his words out.

Alex chuckled at Riley's response to how they had awoken, he knew the other boy was embarrassed but didn't want to tease him about it, regardless of how tempting it was to do so.

"You wanna go get breakfast?" Alex asked.

Riley nodded dumbly and the boys began to make their way downstairs.

As they passed one room however, the most incredible scent overwhelmed them.

"Oh man, what is that smell, it's incredible, somebody is cooking something awesome right now." Alex said excitedly.

"Oh yeah, lets get there so everyone else doesn't eat it all." Riley replied.

They quickened the pace as they dashed for the kitchen for a plate of whatever was being cooked.

As they arrived they noticed the family of rogues that they'd taken in sitting at the table, eating quietly.

"Let's give them some peace, we'll take our food to go." Riley said.

"Don't worry about it, it's nice to meet you, i'm Thomas and this is my wife Martha, these two idiots are two of my sons, Reece and david. i've got one more son but he wanted to sleep in."

Riley nodded, "I'm Riley, the alpha's second son, this is my mate Alex."

Alex nodded to the familyh.

"would you like to join us for breakfast? there's plenty of room on the table." Thomas asked.

"Of course" Riley replied with a smile.

Breakfast was pretty good fun actuially, David and Reece shared a lot of the same interests as the two boys so they decided to hang out together once the alpha finished their pack induction ceremony which was taking place after breakfast.

They split up for a while so Alex and Riley could go get showered and dressed, while the family headed off to fetch their other son and make their way to the alpha's office for the ceremony.
