"Now, strange voice, do you have any other tricks you can show me? Anything that doesn't involve a painful headache will be okay for me."
No respondee. Why am I not surprised by this outcome.
"I know you can hear me. Tell me if there are more things you can do."
Voice didn't respond again. I don't know if I should be angry or be happy because my voice stopped making my head hurt, but it feels lonely when there's only a voice of mine.
At least I feel better every day. It was hard to understand the current situation I am in the beginning.
Monsters, cold, lack of supplies, all these things make me think I will die here, but I overcome all of them.
I killed the monsters, stoped the cold with fire and thicker clothes, I killed an animal with my hands and processed his meat for supply.
Nothing I can't handle, but monsters started to getting stronger too. First, I could kill the skeletons with my bare hands. Now, I'll try to be careful about not getting hit by them.
Now, I am curious about these little guys. If I didn't have my berries with me, bleeding and infection possibly caused my death right here.
I need to be more careful in the future. I couldn't fight against every monster with the same strategy.
Against skeletons, I need to use heavy objects suitable for crushing hard things to kill them. Green creatures (who look like goblins) can be killed by diving into small groups and shooting from a distance.
Wild animals like deers and wolves share one similarity, both of them are insanely aggressive. I can use this for luring them into traps.
I walked around the small slaughter field I made and picked up the thing I may need.
Here is my bow! A nice-looking shoulder pack over there. Look at these coin purses, and don't forget to grab the spear for the last thing.
Now, what should I do? I ate enough berries to wander around the forest, but turning back to my cave has its charms too.
I think I'll wander more.
A tree, a weird-looking bird, a stone, what a fascinating forest I couldn't keep my eyes away from it!
Shouldn't another monster already attack me right now? I start to get bored just walking around.
The only exciting thing I found in the forest was a mushroom.
"Danger alert! One should be careful."
Now, that's the thing I want to hear. I looked around to locate my enemy.
A monster with a similar look as a Draugr was coming towards me.
Something human-sized with a cuttable flesh. I looked at the falchion I got from the goblin. "I think I'll need you this time."
While I had a range advantage, I should make the first attack. My hand reached the quiver on my back and grabbed an arrow. Only a few left, but it will be enough.
I put the arrow on the bed and pulled the string. I hope I won't miss a target this big and approaching towards me.
I released the string, the tip of the arrow split air into two while moving and created a whistling sound.
Arrow hit the Draugr, but now from somewhere lethal. Draugr, with an arrow on his shoulder, was still moving towards me.
I dropped the bow and pulled out my falchion. "Please don't hold back."
I killed nine creatures this morning, and I want more blood. The goblins were nothing more than pesky rats.
Draugr pulled out a lucerne hammer from his back. Now we are talking! I need this weapon. It can crush, stab, and penetrate.
I feel like something is missing. Red bar and runic words started to form in front of me. "Thank you. I almost thought you forget it."
I hope the voice heard that because it attitudinizes me.
Draugr started growling. "Now, are you a little more aggressive or what?"
I don't know how smart it is to tease every creature I saw, but it is worth it.
Monster swings his weapon towards me. It was easy to dodge.
"You need to work on your moves. A grandpa could dodge this."
I don't think it understands the words I said, but just my gestures were enough to make him angrier.
Draugr tried to stab me with the tip of his weapon this time, which almost managed to do it, but I managed to dodge it.
Now with the opening I have, I rushed towards him and slashed my falchion towards his face.
The creature stepped back and managed to dodge my falchion, but it wasn't fast enough to escape from my fist.
"How hard is your face." I shook my hand because of the pain.
Draugr lost his balance after the punch, which gave me another opening for my next attack.
I slashed my falchion, this time. It cut some flesh from the creature's chest.
Draugr managed to get his balance back and screamed at my face.
Now, it's swinging his weapon like a wild animal, which is both bad and good. It won't give me any opening, but because it attacks like an animal. It didn't manage to hit me once.
Should I do the trick? I looked at the monster following me while swinging his weapon. I should do the trick.
I throw my falchion into the face of Draugr. It stopped for a moment because of the confusion, which allowed me to tackle him with my body.
Now I am on top of the Draugr, who is lying on the ground.
I took out my mace started to hit his face. "Please die, please die, why don't you die!" The creature hissed at me and tried to throw me to the side.
"Die, die, die." I am still hitting his face, which started to deform after taking this many hits, but Draugr is still alive somehow?
"Just fucking die already!" I hit his face with all my power. Finally, the creature stopped moving after my mace sink into his face.
Why was it this hard to kill a moving flesh? Even a deer took me less effort to kill it.
After I breathe for a minute, I had enough strength to get up from the ground.
"Hunt successful no-." and I wonder what was missing, now I'll tease the voice little. "No rewards are given. I know that. Why don't you start tracking mod or something?"
"Danger alert, should one want me to list them as a non-threat?"
"Now you are doing the sarcasm, and what threat?" I looked around. Fuck, another Draugr is coming towards here. I picked the Lucerne hammer from the ground. "Now, come here for your death!"
Three more Draugr showed up. Does somebody play a game with me?
"Fuck it. I don't care. I won't fight against you, bad days. I hope I don't see you ever again."
I picked up my bow from the ground and started to run towards where I came.
As a wise man said before: You need to bear your mistakes unless you can run away from them.
