You need to kill four boss monsters to survive. I don't know what to do right now. I don't possess the strength enough to kill a beast like that wolf.
One word makes me confused "To survive." does that mean if I don't kill the four boss monsters, I will die.
"Voice, tell me my current chance of killing the giant wolf." My expectations are not great. I can handle another joke from it.
"One's current chance of killing the giant wolf is less than %5 percent."
So there's still a chance. I ask more questions to find a way to increase this rate.
"Voice, how could I increase my chance to kill the giant wolf."
It seems to be helpful today. I will use this to the last drop.
"Find better equipment," Voice said.
My expectations were low but holy fuck. I don't even have a word to say against that. Find better equipment, what advice!
"Could you specify where I can get better equipment?" Voice didn't answer this time.
"Are you like that at the time you were born. Did you had to go under special training to achieve this level of assholeness?"
My stomach is growling. I should go back to my shelter for a meal.
I found a tree that was marked by me before. Now I can go back shelter without a problem.
I should visit berry bush for a restock. I am just thinking about random things right now.
I have a lot of chores to do. I need to cook a meal, boil water, check the surrounding area to spot possible threats.
It has been a long day, first goblins then Draugrs, and for dessert territory fight between wolves and Draugrs.
Even the over-exhausting military training feels like nothing.
Cave, sweet cave. I couldn't describe how happy I am to be here right now.
Make a campfire, boil some water, filter it with fabric, then grab the meat hidden inside a snow mass.
I don't have much to do. I'll go to sleep after I check my surroundings.
I've been spending most of my time doing nothing other than wandering and fighting, and the only time I rest is when I sleep.
Now, I have a goal. I need to kill four powerful monsters to survive. It may look impossible, but it seems like my life depends on it.
Now, it's time for me to make a fire because I am hungry.
I am bored of eating blank meat every day, but I don't have any other choices. I want to escape from here and find another human. I can give all my fortune just for a tasty meal and warm bed.
I put my head on a pile of clothes I use as a pillow. Nothing ever lasts forever, so my stay in this place too.
It should be I have a life that I can't just leave behind.
Yes, I wanted to get away from my peaceful life. I spend six years of my life in hot conflict zones. It is not easy to forget old habits.
I need to get my life together, even though I don't know how to do that.
I need to sleep, or an existential crisis will start soon, and I don't want to be sleepy when something comes here to kill me.
"Good night, Voice. Even though I don't like you much, thank you for not making me feel alone and sometimes helping me."
Same time at the other side of the world
My name is Achi Taginori, a six-teen years old student from Japan.
Today my dream become true. I found myself in another world as a hero!
Now let me tell you how it happened. While I was sitting in class and reading a manga called "The Ultimate SwordDude Saga." an explosion of light made me blind.
When I opened my eyes, a kind goddess talked to me. She said, "I was dead, but because my life was not a good one, she offered me one more chance in a world in my dreams."
I wasn't alone either. Lots of people with similar interest were also sent this world as a champion of gods.
I opened my eyes in a big room decorated with gold and silver where a glorious king welcome us.
I eat food so delicious my mouth almost melted in flavors! Chefs, butlers, and maids were all working for us.
After a long feast, I never felt this happy in my life. A beautiful woman who is one of the imperial captains told us we were being divided into groups and sent to different places on the continent to raised as heroes.
She also said gods and goddesses given us some gifts. An RPG-like hud opened in front of me right after it. I touched a button written inventory on it.
A sword looks similar to the one used by the main character of the manga I was reading! I know gods were such kind beings. I will be praying for you every day!
Let's return to our hero again.
For three days, the same thing keeps happening. If you ask what thing, let me tell you.
Just like an office worker couldn't wake up without a coffee, I can't wake up without a group of creatures attacking me while I eat my food.
"At least let me finish my dinner first, will you?" I crushed the head of a goblin with my polearm after saying that.
I knew I should pick up berries way back home. Another goblin jumped and tried to stab my leg.
The top of my Lucerne hammer penetrated his chest, and nothing left on the red bar. I start to do better every day.
Yesterday I found a cave with a door on it while wandering in the forest. Voice said it was a dungeon and contained good loot, but I wanted to make preparations first.
Sadly, because monsters keep attacking me on sight, I couldn't make proper preparation.
I grabbed a goblin from his neck and yeeted to another one.
"Why do you keep attacking me even though every one of you dies after trying it?"
My answer is a sound that the first humans will make to communicate with each other.
"Voice, do you have a combat assistance mode or something like that? Maybe tell me if something is coming from my back."
"I could activate the tracking mod in order the find escaping enemies," Voice replied.
Except that none of them were running away, it could be helpful assistance, and there's the thing about tracking mod not working and making my headache.
A goblin tried to throw his spear towards me, which I caught mid-air because of how slow the projectile was coming. It wasn't hard, but I think it was pretty cool.
Goblins started to step back. Some of them were directly running away, which included the one who threw me the spear.
Expect a one that holds his ground and screams towards me while swinging his weapon.
I looked at the spear " I never did javelin throw in my life, but why not try today."
Hold the spear above my head and position it to parallel to the ground. Pull the spear back, and stretch just like a spring, and throw it.
It was amateurish and didn't go as I wanted, but it hit the screaming goblins' arm, which caused it to scream louder and roll on the ground.
The fight is still not over. I can sense that.
"Danger alert! An elite enemy is approaching."
A goblin bigger than usual showed itself after I killed the screaming goblin.
"Voice, do elites count as a boss?" Maybe it will answer this time.
"No, elite monsters don't count as bosses."
"Any rewards for killing it?."
"First time killing a type of elite enemy has chance to grant a small amount of physical strength."
It helped me this time. I don't know what to say other than wow.
I swing my weapon slowly to taunt the monster. "I hope you don't mind getting murdered, big boy."
