I was in awe at the hero standing before me. He had single handedly won a battle against 200 men! And he won with broken daggers and his fists! He could see the surprise on my face and chuckled. "Young one, I see a spark in you. A spark that I had when I was young. I was to turn that spark of your into a raging fire. Come with me to the monastery Sean." He held out his hand and I grabbed it, as we walked to the monastery.
He opened the doors to the monastery and led me to what seemed to be the leader of this place. They talked as I saw people wearing long robes fighting with one another outside the windows. Rohaan and the leader argued in some language that I didn't know. After what seemed like forever, they stopped yelling at each other. Rohaan kneeled down and spoke to me in his soothing voice. "Young Sean, before you learn the ways of this monastery, you must learn the rules of this place." I nodded my head, waiting. "You may never leave your quaters at night. You are not allowed in the back of the library. You may never disobey the Abbot. And lastly, you may never study the was of the Monk of Mercy." He stood back up after I agreed to the rules. The Abbot nodded at Rohaan as we left the room.
