They walked into the arena. The main room was locked, so Bolin took her to his teammate’s breakroom. There was a giant glass window that she could see the ring through it. The arena was surrounded by seats, and in the middle, an enormous hexagonal shape placed above the water. It had two colours of red and blue on different sides. On the surface of the rings were holes, which used to keep Earth coins and grates for water running underneath.
Since Firebenders can generate their own fire, the ring was the perfect terrain for all benders to fight. Although she was wondering why there were no Airbenders in Pro-bending until she remembered Tenzin was the only one old enough to play, and he certainly wouldn't play this game.
Hold on.
Tenzin!
The door swung open, and Korra heard a sigh coming from behind, “Bolin, I told you, you have to stop bringing your crazy fangirls in here.”
“You have fangirls?” Korra turned to Bolin, who looked awkward.
“Come on, Mako! Don’t be rude.” Bolin said, “Korra, I want you to meet my brother, Mako.”
Korra looked at Mako, another teenage boy who just entered the room. He was higher than Bolin and wore a red scarf with a long brown jacket that didn’t match with each other. His bright golden eyes reminded her of her sifu Azula. She guessed he must be the Firebending player of Fire Ferret.
“We don’t have any free ticket for you.” Mako snorted.
“What?” Korra looked confused, she shook her head. “Bolin, I have to leave now. Do you know where Air Temple Island is?”
“Why not?”
“Air Temple Island is a restrictive area,” Mako said.
“I’m a messenger from Water Tribe,” Korra said. She feels bad for lying to her friends. But for now, she needed to know who she can trust. And it was not entirely a lie. I have a message for Tenzin. The Avatar had escaped and is searching for you. She thought sarcastically.
“Oh! That so cool! Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Bolin said excitedly.
“I forgot. But I need to go now. It’s getting late.” Korra said.
Mako looked at her suspiciously but he pointed to the opposite window in the hallways, “It’s over there.”
She could see the giant island not too far from the Pro-bending Arena. I can’t believe I miss that.
“Wait!” Bolin stopped her before she left, “We have a game tomorrow night. Would you like to come? I can give you a ticket!”
“I'm sorry. I'd love to come and cheer your team, but I don’t bring money with me. And I don’t want someone to think I come here for free tickets,” She glanced at Mako.
Bolin looked at Mako and sighed. He looked disappointed and slightly angry.
“Just take the ticket,” Mako growled and handed the ticket to her.
Korra was surprised by his changing attitude. She wasn’t sure if she should take it but Bolin took the ticket from Mako’s hand and pushed it toward her hand.

Korra rode on Naga, and they headed straight to the island.
No distraction this time. Korra promised to herself.
Naga passed through a few paths until they ran into the highway. They decided to walk around to a small street. After all, they only need one lesson about crossing the road.
“Mr Chung, please tell me that you have my money, or else I can't guarantee I can protect the rest of your fine establishment. These men are very unpredictable.”
Mr Chung swallowed and trembled with fear. He apologised and promised to give them the wage later, only to get laughed at by the gangster.
“Or else what, hoodlum?” Korra cut him off.
The gangster turned around in alarm but burst into laughter when they only saw a teenage girl while Mr Chung froze in fear. They circled around her like buzzard-wasp. She didn't see them carry any weapons, which made her assumed that they were benders. Ironically, she remembered Bolin talked about her being a Waterbender because of her outfits. If it's true in this case, it would mean that she had to deal with three different elements. And if they were going to strike after her at once, she would be crow-food. She had once again paid the price for her reckless action.
Korra tried to remain calm. She remembered the training with Azula on taking multiple opponents. She needed to find their weakness and took them out one by one fast.
“Who do you think you are? You’re in Triple Threat Triad territory.” The Waterbender laughed.
“Oh really?” Korra blinked, “Who is the man in charge then? Him?” She threw a glance at the Earthbender.
The Earthbender giggled with satisfied, but the Waterbender send a glare at him and he was quiet again.
“No idiot. I am the leader of the group. Never heard of the name Viper?”
“Maybe you’re not as famous as you think.” Korra shrugged.
“Then why don’t you come here and show me what you got,” Korra said. She forced herself not to shift into her fighting stance too soon, just to piss him more.
The plan worked. Viper blinded with anger and tried to attack her by himself. As soon as the Waterbender’s hand moved to the jacket, where she guessed he hidden the water pouch, she slid forward and struck his knee with her feet. The man stumbled. She didn't wait for any second before sending him to his car through the window, breaking the glass in the process.
The other men flinched with surprise, giving her time to narrow the distance between them. She headed toward the Earthbender, forcing him to face her. It was a risk. Unless the Earthbender was well trained, they usually need more time to launch an attack. But luck was at her side this time. The man was just able to stomp on the ground before Korra was already in front of him. She swung her fist and knocked him fly toward a food stance next door.
Only one person left.
The Firebender flashed a stream of fire toward.
She saved the easy one for the last.
Korra was satisfied with herself as the Triple Threat Triad was now down on the ground and she didn’t even need to shoot a single fireball. She saved the shop keeper from the gangsters. Saving people, that is the Avatar job!
It was not long until she was snapped back into reality.
“Police! Freeze where you are!”
