On the next Saturday, just like promised, Y/n picked Anakin and the kids up with his Aston Martin. Luke and Leia immediately jumped in the car.

-Hey papa Y/n. - they said together, earning a wide smile from Y/n.

-Hi kids. - he answered as Anakin went up to the car. He opened the door and took the passenger seat.

-Morning love. - he smiled. Y/n leaned closer for a kiss. Anakin blushed and pecked Y/n's lips quickly.

-Morning. - muttered Anakin, looking away.

Y/n explained where were they going briefly as they drove. He just said that they were visiting the place he used to live in as a kid. That only fueled Anakin's curiosity of why was his boyfriend so deep in thoughts for the past week. He had a feeling he will understand everything soon.

The ride lasted around an hour. Y/n couldn't overtake much, because of the heavy traffic on the road, but no one seemed to mind. Then they turned into a forest road. Driving a stiff sports car on a road like this wasn't the best idea, but Y/n felt the need to show off to his ex best friend a bit. Soon they arrived on the empty parking lot. Y/n parked the car on the random spot.

-This is it. - he said as they were getting out of the vehicle. - This parking used to be filled with cars when I was a kid. Let's take a walk on the pond area.

Y/n led the way to Anakin and the kids. They went through the gate and immediately after they were met with the first pond. Luke and Leia decided to run a bit, while Y/n and Anakin walked slowly, talking.

-Will you tell me why are we here and why we're you so silent lately? - asked Anakin.

-Well. - sighed Y/n as he intertwined their fingers. - Me and my parents moved here when I was two. All my life my grandparents and the rest of the family were far away, I was alone. My parents were working their asses off, so I didn't spent much time with them either. I was forced to grow up early and take care of myself when they were out. Even though I did my best to not to be a nuisance, I was treated like a trash. Not by my parents or their coworkers, but by the owner of this place. Him, his children and grandchildren. I used to be a friend of one of his grandchildren, or at least it was what I thought. When I grew older I realised that I was just a companion to him when he was coming here. There were moments when he brought his friends here and acted like he didn't know me. - Y/n looked at the ground in front of him. Anakin squeezed his hand, trying to make him feel a bit better. Y/n responded to it immediately and continued talking. - Still I have to give the geezer one thing. When he was in charge of the business, this place was a heart of the town. People were coming here every day and on weekends the restaurant was full. The ponds had the grass cut, everything looked well kept. Look at it now, to me it looks ruined.

-Then what changed? - asked Anakin.

-The owner. - Y/n sighed. - He gave the whole thing to his son, who doesn't have knowledge about the thing and doesn't have an idea for it. My so called best friend took it after his uncle and now he called me, because he wants to get rid of it. And that's why we are here.

Anakin widened his eyes.

-You bought this? - he asked.

-Not yet, today I will. - answered Y/n. - And that was what bothered me for past days. I couldn't decide whether I should take his offer or not. And most likely I will quit the job in the office. This place needs my attention.

They took a round trip around the ponds. The road took them over two hours. By the time they arrived to the restaurant Luke and Leia were dragging their feet. Anakin's legs hurt too, the place was huge. Y/n on the other hand looked completely unfazed, if anything, he was slightly amused. They stepped into the restaurant. Y/n frowned as the first thing that he noticed was how empty it was.

-Y/n nice to see you. - they heard a male voice.

-Hi Marius. - answered Y/n and shook the man's hand.

-I see you have a companion. - smiled Marius.

-Yeah, my boyfriend Anakin and the kids are Luke and Leia. - Y/n introduced, tensed a bit.

-I would never think you'd swing that way. - chuckled Marius. - But I never expected much of you.

Anakin was reader jump to Marius's throat, but Y/n stopped him. He just answered with a stoic facade.

-And yet I'm buying this place from you, because you can't bring it's former glory. - he said. He could see with satisfaction how Marius gritted his teeth. - Let's get to the business, I don't want to waste more time on you than it's needed.

They waited for the lawyer to show up. He was getting a bit late, but he apologized immediately after he stepped through the door. Anakin was sitting at Y/n side as he was reading through the documents. It took him some time, he was asking a lot of questions. Once he was satisfied, he signed the documents and made a bank transfer to Marius's account.

After that Y/n had a short meeting with his new employees. He told them about his plans. Many of them remembered him as a child. They were interested in his plan, there was one thing that made him different from their former boss. Y/n had the knowledge and the idea on their work. Y/n examined the tractors and the other equipment they had. Luke and Leia were busy running around the main yard. Anakin just looked at his children and smiled seeing them so carefree and happy.

Time skip

They have spent the whole day there. When the evening came, Y/n drove Anakin and the kids back home. He wasn't ready to stay the night at the farm yet. Anakin invited him in for a coffee, which he gladly accepted. They were sitting in the living room, talking, while Luke and Leia were getting ready to sleep. They were exhausted. When they were ready they went up to Anakin and pecked his cheeks as a goodnight. Y/n got surprised, when Luke and Leia did the same to him. Then they ran back to their rooms.

-I'm happy they accept you. - said Anakin.

-Me too. - answered Y/n. - I never planned on having kids and now I have a full package. - he added chuckling. - I love them. And I love you.

-Love you too. - answered Anakin.

They didn't notice when their faces started getting closer to each other, until their lips touched. They kissed slowly, enjoying every second. Anakin moved closer to Y/n and rested his hands on his shoulders. Y/n wrapped his arms around Anakin's waist, pulling him even closer. They pulled away after a while, still pecking each other's lips.

-You're an amazing kisser. - smiled Anakin.

-I could say the same about you babe. - answered Y/n as he played with Anakin's hair.

-Would you like to stay the night? - answered Anakin. - In my room this time? I'm too lazy to prepare the guest room.

-How could I reject such a tempting offer? - purred Y/n.

-We're just sleeping, nothing else. - scolded Anakin.

-I didn't imply anything else. - smirked Y/n.

-Good. - muttered Anakin and rested his head on Y/n's shoulder.

When they finished the coffee, they made their way to the bedroom. Anakin made the bed, while Y/n had a chance to look around the room. His attention was caught by the picture on the nightstand.

-Is that Luke and Leia's mom? - he asked. Anakin widened his eyes.

-Yes, sorry. - he said and tried to take the photo from him.

-Why are you apologizing? - asked Y/n, making him stop. - It's good that you remember about her. She was beautiful.

-She was. - sighed Anakin. He wanted to say something more, but his throat became tight.

-Don't hide the photos. - said Y/n, holding Anakin tight. - Keep them on display for Luke and Leia.

-You don't mind? - asked Anakin.

-Of course not. - Y/n smiled. - Now let's go to sleep, I'm tired. - he added and kissed Anakin's forehead.
