Mother walked out the doorway with a cold, frowny face. Whatever she was going to do, I knew it was something extremely serious. I wasn't sure whether I should stop her but even if I tried to, she wouldn't have listened. So now it was just Xion, Xihop and I.
Xihop breathed a sigh of annoyance. Although she was trying to stay calm and relaxed in this situation, she wasn't sure what to do at all.
"You shouldn't mind your mother since she moved in with- ehh- with your father, she has always shown an undefeatable character.” Said Xihop flopping on the couch. I looked at Xion who was looking at our broken door. Have I told you that Xion is a perfectionist. Everything, to him, has to be in order and intact (although our place really isn't). So I knew that door and the broken chair really annoyed him. Anyways, there are much more important things happening now.
ATTENTION CITIZENS OF NOLLA, WE, THE PEOPLE THAT PROTECT OUR NATION AND THE CITIZENS OF NOLLA, HAVE HAD A NEW UPDATE OF UPCOMING METEOR FROM PLANET SARC S8D. YES, THAT IS CORRECT OUR NEIGHBOURS HAVE SENT A METEOR FROM THEIR PLANET TO HAVE CHANGED OUR PLANET'S SKY TO RED. STAY PUT AS WE GATHER MORE INFORMATION.
It seemed like today couldn't get any weirder, it was so strange that SARC had sent a meteor to our planet. SARC AND NOLLA were like best friends, there is even a stairway to SARC! I'm not kidding. But it's a pretty long staircase.
"Xihop, do you believe in all this? SARC sending a meteor to our planet" I asked, hoping that she would say no. "I don't know what to believe anymore after what has happened, we should just stay inside for a while so that we can all be safe.” Xihop said, shrugging her shoulders.I knew she was going to give such a low answer. I nodded and walked off through the kitchen and onto the balcony. There is no way I am gonna stay put with all that's happened.
As a child, and even now, I have always been told I don't stay still and that I am too curious or whatever and because of my immense curiosity, I have discovered every possible way to every possible thing.
Yes, I do have a list.
List to get to everywhere without mother ever knowing
To go to Mickey and Minnie's house. Through the bedroom window.
To steal mother's skirts. Go through the hole she made when she was extremely mad.
To escape the apartment. Use the balcony to go onto Mr. Slokvords balcony, then Ms. Ogrim (although be careful of her bull spacedog) and so on.
To get to mother's sacred cookie jar. Just go whenever she is not there in the kitchen.
It's a pretty empty list because I have forgotten all the ones from my childhood but it sure has helped me live a little.
When I got off the many dark-coloured balconies, I saw that the trees were leafless and it looked almost black, there were no cars or people on the streets. It looked like an actual apocalypse.
"HELP ME! IM GONNA DIE!” I could hear a voice coming from a dark alley. An extremely small woman with huge bulgy eyes was running fearfully away from something or somoene. "Child, please help me! They shot me! I'm gonna!-” as she was running towards me she stopped and looked at me with teary eyes.
BAM! Her head rolled off her body as it's pieces flew around her. I didn't even know what was happening in front. I didn't even get time to think about what just happened, at first I thought she was running from someone or something but it happens to be she was running from herself. Or not because the same soldiers with the blank faces appeared from the same alley the woman came from. Although this time one of them had no face. I froze as I saw them approach closser. What was I doing? They are gonna kill me just like that woman.
I picked up a fallen stick near me and held it out. "Get away, you psychos!”I shouted, knowing that it wouldn't do anything. I knew I had to run but my feet didn't want to move. They looked at one another, with an expressionI couldn't read because of their strange features. After a few long glances they proceeded to walk away. What?! Weren't they supposed to kill me?! Did I actually manage to stop them?! Maybe the god of NOLLA spared me! I quickly went up the balcony again. I think that now is definitely not a good time to be out. At all.
