If you’ve been to the planet Ulten recently, then you’ve heard the stories of The Starlight Samurai. A true one man army hired by the Galaxy Federation to shut down a terrorist group known as the Revo. At first the people of Ulten were happy... Send in one man to get the job done. Little did they know this battle would leave their planet in shambles.

    They say The Starlight Samurai is half man, half machine. That some doctor found his body in a scrap heap. You ask me, I think they forgot to put his emotions back in when they were building him. The Galaxy Federation don’t know what they unleashed on Ulten, but the results speak for themselves. The planet is a damn wasteland now.

How he does all that damage with just a measly little katana is beyond me. He’s fast as lightning and as strong as an ox, according to the rumors. One man doing all that damage sounds a bit ridiculous, don’t it? I used to joke with my partner that I’d love to see him in action so I can judge for myself. Ever hear that old quote, “be careful what you wish for?”

Turns out the Federation caught wind of a group on our planet known as the Asteroid Remnants. A real treacherous lot. Ain’t one of them worth a spit. I don’t think The Starlight Samurai even had time to wash his hands of Ulten blood before they gave him the nod and sent him in our direction. At first we didn’t even know he landed on our shores. Next thing you know whole cities are collapsing.

I walked through the city of Dennar after The Starlight Samurai gave chase to the Remnants through there. Or at least what was left of Dennar. Bearing witness to the aftermath myself was an eye-opening experience. It was painful, it was horrifying… It was magnificent. I was impressed. I was… inspired.

Entire buildings were cut in half. A street or two had the pavement torn up. I heard on the news that he caught one or two of the remnants there and had a showdown with them. It was brief. He made mince meat out of them, supposedly if you blinked you missed the whole fight. A katana swing or two and it was all over. 

The destruction left me in awe, but gave me a new sense of purpose. You see, on this here planet, known as Ronka, killing is most of our jobs. Hunting bounties on people’s heads is a way of life. It’s incorporated into our system and a part of our everyday lives. For that very reason, this planet is practically abandoned. These cities he’s dropping - Empty. The people he’s killing as collateral - Just as bad as he is. Sure, there are some civil places left here, but if you think this fancy bastard is wiping out this planet before it wipes him out first… Well, you’re gonna lose that bet. I promise you that.

Over the years Ronka has become the home of the worst of the worst in the Galaxy. When it comes to being bad, I’m the baddest. So let that Starlight Samurai run wild on our planet while he can, but sooner or later, him and I, we’re gonna have ourselves a little play date. Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t here to save this miserable planet. I’m just here to show everyone else that around here, I’m the King.
