-Ash… Come here Girl, Let’s get back to camp.
*Woof*
Nearly a week has passed since I found Ash (and killed the Ifret).
Her injury is totally gone now (which was fast).
Enkidu is in his tree for most of the time these past days.
.
.
.
I just woke up (Ash woke me up) Enkidu is still working in his tree so I decided to go and start training again (because what else I am going to do) but before I got out of the camp the hammering of Enkidu stopped…
-Ah good Atlas, you are still here (said while walking out of his tree carrying a leather wrapped object).
-What do you have there Enkidu (while pointing at the leather wrap he holds)
-I will tell you soon, not here though. Take me to your new spot.
-Sure, follow me.
*Woof*
.
.
.
After I buried the Ifr, Abraham. It didn’t feel right to train there anymore… so I switched to a new spot which Enkidu hasn’t been in yet.
It is deeper in the woods than the old one… it’s an imperfect circle that is mostly empty yet it had a large tree in the middle (not as big as Enkidu’s tree not even near) it caught my interest because it has a small hole near the tree it seemed deep so I haven’t attempted to explore it (yet).
-Nice spot here, good choice Atlas (said Enkidu while walking towards the tree)
He stood in front of the tree and put the leather garb in the ground near him.
-Atlas, now you have a good mastery over your shadow. I bet you are eager to find out what other abilities you have.
-Nah, not really.
-Shut up Atlas.
-Ha-ha.
-Anyway let’s talk about the other tattoo on your back… you second ability is to control your blood! It may sound useless to you but that’s far from the truth.
Blood is made of many components which you can control individually, the catch is that it must be yours and it must be out of your veins.
.
.
.
Now for your last one (the one on your hand) I couldn’t remember what it did… I thought it was a new one but it wasn’t just that Nergal has only given it to one champion long ago but no matter how much he tried, he couldn’t summon it.
I didn’t know how I could help then, but now I have a theory… First, this power is a unique one that only Nergal has as the King on the dead he has dominion and complete control over the dead.
I don’t think you can summon a soul for no cost as you aren’t (obviously) the king here.
-So what’s the point of an ability that I can’t use? (I said while shrugging)
-I didn’t say you can’t use it, that I am not sure off. The theory is that if you combine the two powers you have now to an extent… you can summon a soul to serve you.
Not sure if it will be any soul though, my other theory is that it must be a soul you took!
Now let’s talk about this (said Enkidu while pointing at the leather garb next to him).
He held it and started unwrapping it…
It was a leather gauntlet! It had a black neat finish, a long and relatively narrow metal bar on the top part of it, from this bar four small chains emerged at the end of each on is a small ring each one had a small gem with deferent color.
-I have trained many champions in my years, I made something for each of them.
And for you I made this, Gauntlet, here (as he throw it towards me).
I strapped it on and wore the rings each in a finger it fit well, I turned my hand left and right to take a closer look at it.
It had red veins in the leather part which looked really cool.
I pulled my fingers and formed a fist and as soon as I did that a blade came out of the bar it was… a peace from the Ifret’s hand, the left one.
So that’s what he picked up when he kneeled on the corpse…
-So… do you like? (Said Enkidu with while smiling like he already knows the answer).
-It’s ok.
-Ok? It’s excellent! How dare you (said Enkidu while looking really offended)
*Puff*
-Ha-ha I’m just kidding man, it’s really cool. Thank you.
*hehe*
-Now that we are done with the talking, how about we get to some training?
(Said Enkidu as he was knelling down and picking a small rock)
That spot would have been better, but this one will suffice…
As he said that he throw the small rock he was holding on the ground next to him…
*Crack*
A second latter the ground next to him cracked and a wooden figure emerged from it, it had a body similar to Enkidu but it had no face nor hair and in the middle of its head is the rock that Enkidu throw.
-What is this?
-This is your new training dummy Atlas, say hi.
-Hi? (I said while raising my hand to the wooden man which it raised its hand back at me)
-Ha-ha great you’re getting well together, now Atlas what I want you to do is to first summon your blood power and have the same control over it as your shadow, and second I want you to combine your shadow with it in attack and defense.
For the Next days don’t use your shadow for anything, not before gaining control of your blood first.
All clear?
-Yes, I understand.
-Great (said Enkidu as he pointed at the wooden golem that started attacking immediately).
Its attacks are strong and precise it is really hard to block them without my shadow…
*Ugh*
It punched me in the stomach… this is going to be hard!
.
.
.
Many days have passed since I started my new training tasks with Enkidu, which unlike last time he stayed near me and gave me instructions that helped me a lot to understand and control my powers faster… as I was able to summon my blood (briefly) yesterday, and today we were supposed to continue our training but Enkidu said we’ll have an off day.
There wasn’t anything to do here but train so I decided to go train anyway after a bit as I was getting really board… and as I was sitting in the camp and near the fire a small black bird came flying near me and Ash which I didn’t care about but Ash quickly got agitated and started running after it!
-Hey Ash Stop! (I yelled at her but to avail as she was firmly focused on it)
So I continued to follow her deeper inside the wood as she followed the bird.
.
.
.
I was finally able to catch up to her as she stopped near a river after catching the bird and started munching on it.
After checking on her I noticed a women on the other side of the river… as I looked at her she smiled and disappeared in her shadow!
-Well that was strange. Anyway let’s get back to camp Ash.
*Woof*
-Why is it strange? (Talked a sudden voice behind me)
*Gasp*
-What the! (I said after being startled)
*Giggles*
The woman that I saw ant the other side of the river was the one who talked to me after she used her shadow to get behind me (I think)…
She had Long Dark hair with bright skin, she was wearing a black skirt that reached to her knees and from the top of it black and gold straps emerge covering the top part of her body and tying up on her neck which had a big necklets that had a big purple jewel, let alone the many rings on her hand…
She stopped so I asked
-Who are you?
-Oh so he hadn’t told you? So typical of him (she said while looking rather angry)
*Puff*
I am Ereshkigal The Queen Of Kur.
