Dazed and deafened by the horrid sound of metallic snapping, Eve felt the heat before she realized what was happening. It was the most intense sensation she had ever experienced.

A reverberant fusion of power was followed by a sudden flash of bluish gold. A broad and ferocious bolt of pure energy was erupting from inside the bulb.

Two streams of flame, crisscrossing in unison, sealed the shield and superheated the outer shell. The unfortunate ‘mechs were instantly scorched, frying every inch of their tiny structures both inside and out.

Eve could hear them falling from the bulb, one after the other, screaming in agony.

And then silence.

The entire bulb glowed with an aura that would rival any supernova in the universe.

In utter amazement, Murmur whispered the only word that could possibly explain what just happened.
