~Chapter 9 2/2 Blaze’s POV~

Dustin rolled over onto his back with a groan. He looked like he was in pain. I don’t know how it feels or ever will feel because I’m an Alpha. I should probably ask him, it may help him feel better.  “Do you want me to get you your suppressants?” Dustin nodded slightly. “Okay, I’ll be back in a minute.” I walked downstairs. I went to my kitchen and opened the cupboard. I grabbed one of the glasses and filled it up with water. I walked over to the bag with the heat suppressants and picked it up. “Oh” I realized I should probably grab him an ice pack for the pain. I don’t think the heat suppressants help with the pain. I went back into my kitchen and grabbed a plastic bag and filled it with ice. I opened one of the drawers in the kitchen and grabbed a checkered dish towel. I put the bag full of ice and the towel into the bag with the suppressants and started walking towards my stairs. These stairs have always scared me. They were slippery if you wore socks. So most of the time I walked around barefoot. I walked back upstairs gripping the railing. “Hey Dusty I’m back.” He grumbled something but it was too incoherent to understand. His face was red and he was breathing heavily. I rushed over to the side of the bed. “Hey, Dustin are you okay?” He shook his head slightly. “What’s wrong?” I asked him. “It’s the side effects of being bitten.” I took my glass of water and grabbed the box of suppressants. I read over the instructions. In bold letters, it said, “Take only one pill per day.” I slid the packet of pills out of the box. I popped the case the pill was in. I put down the pill and glass on the nightstand and helped Dustin sit up. I handed him the pill and glass, and he swallowed the pill and drank half the glass of water. Then I helped him lay back down. “Does that help a little bit?” “Yes, it does thank you. Can I ask you for one more favor?” Dustin asked me. I nodded. “Can you go to my parent's apartment to pick up some of my stuff?” “Sure. What is the address?” “It’s on XXXX rd, apartment 105. Just tell them you are a friend if they want to know.” “Okay. I will go pick up your stuff. In the meantime, you should rest.” He nodded before closing his eyes. I pulled the blanket over his chest and left the room. I closed the door behind myself. I went back downstairs and grabbed my sweatshirt and car keys. I should grab a snack before I leave. I should also find something that may cheer up Dustin or make him feel better. I grabbed a protein bar from my cabinet and got ready to leave.
