"This is so very unfair. The celebrations were underway and we had to sneak out of the fortress unnoticed," complained Lucia while retaining her balance on the Pegasus.
"I know it wasn't fair. But, I didn't tell you all to come with me," argued Antonio.
"Chill out guys, we need to reach Altia as fast as we can," said Jake.
"I had to depart Travis, my dragon back to Geriard and so did Leon had." sighed Luke looking back at the already disappearing fortress of Woodrow.
"Where exactly is Altia?" inquired Antonio.
"It is near the border of the kingdom of Kalvar. Back then, Lord Morris was the local lord of the city but, I haven't heard from him since long," told Leon.
"I also haven't heard someone with the initials of H.R becoming the local lord. I should have been notified by someone as my clansmen are in every city of Kalvar," informed Luke.
"Let's check it out for ourselves. I really don't care about who this person is, I just want Natalie and others snapped out of his spell and freed," suggested Antonio.
"Don't worry, They all should be fine. I don't think that this H.R guy will be much trouble," assured Leon.
"Oh no, I totally forgot! We have to get down as soon as we reach the Mountain ranges of Erlia. From there, we need to travel through the tunnels which is like a labyrinth but, it will get us into Astia in a few hours." explained Luke.
"Luke, don't you know that the route is very dangerous and the tunnels are swarming with monsters of different kinds. We should take the route around the mountains of Erlia which would take two days to cross and reach the city," argued Leon.
"No Leon, we will take the tunnel route and we must reach as fast as we can," said Antonio.
"I understand your concerns. But, our own safety will be at risk if we go through the tunnels of Erlia. Not even a single player had have tried to enter it. Also, if you ask the locals, they just ignore the question." persuaded Leon.
"If you don't wanna come, it's fine. I will travel on my own and you can return to your respective cities," shouted Antonio.
"As you wish, I will come with you and so do Luke but, we all need the protection spell from your cleric friend," said Leon.
"I am ever ready to help. Just tell me when and where." cried Lucia from behind.
"Me too, I am also the friend of Antonio." agreed Jake.
After traveling for an hour or so, All of them saw the peak of mountains of Erlia which was covered in clouds and looked like the way to heaven but in reality it was the entrance to hell. At the foot of the mountain ranges, A small opening, around the size of a normal human was visible to them. Slowly, all of them landed their mounts in front of the opening and got down from the Pegasus.
Antonio and his party gazed at the opening and took a deep breath before walking forward. Leon stopped him and told Lucia to first use her shield spell on all of them. Lucia did as she was told and an invisible shield developed around them. This shield spell could protect them from basic attacks from the monsters as well as hold off weak physical and magical attacks.
"Wait! Let me caste a spark spell before we enter. It would be dark there as people say this is one of the darkest places in all around the continent." said Lucia and immediately cast a light spell and five small balls of light started floating around them.
"Okay, So, are we ready to go inside and rescue everyone from the unknown threat which we will face after some time?" asked Antonio.
"Yeah, We all are ready! Let's go." replied everyone in unison and went inside through the small opening.
Altian Fortress, City of Altia,
"Please, Please no, I don't want this crest. Please." cried Arnold.
"Don't worry, it's just a small crest craved out of your own burnt flesh." laughed a person wearing a mask.
"Who are you and why are you doing this to us?" cried Mia.
"I don't think you would be pleased to know who really I am but, I am doing all of this for fun. I enjoy when people beg for something and it becomes more intimidating when, they cry and growl." sneered the person.
"Please, I beg you. Free us. What mistakes we did for you are punishing us like this." pleaded Chris, a crest became visible as soon as the light from the crescent moon cast on his bare body.
"You are asking me what mistakes you did?" shouted the person holding the face of Chris and squeezing it.
"You supported the Dragon Knights in their campaigns. Moreover, You supported the first and fifth Dragon Knight whom I hate the most." yelled the person.
"Why What is the reason that you hate the Dragon Knights?" questioned Jason.
"I hate them to the core. Because of them, I am struck into this world forever. I begged, I pleaded but, they didn't forgive me and killed me. When I was reincarnated, I discovered that now, I cannot [LOG OUT] and to add to the pain, I received this system thing from the first Dragon Knight who told me if my Life Force ran out, I would die in real." answered the person in a calm voice.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and a handsome-looking male, walked in the direction of the masked person. He had worn a full plate armor and Held a long staff in his hands. He stopped in front of the masked person and whispered something in his ears.
"Hector my brother, You gave me great news. I am really glad that our first plan worked out pretty well." praised the person.
"Brother Hubert, it was nothing for the weapon you gave me. This staff which I received from you when I had just entered this world. It can transform into a Battle Axe as well as a Spear." said Hector.
"Hey, If you are Hector then, who is this masked guy?" came a feminine voice from behind.
"Nothing of your interest, Natalie Chase," told Hector.
"Wait, Hector, She did a lot for us. Now, it's our time to repay," said Hubert and slowly removed his mask.
"I am HR, Hubert Reomord. The half brother to Hector and the legitimate heir to the throne of Kalvar."
