The city of Altia, Kingdom of Kalvar,

"This is so interesting to watch! One of the Dragon Knights bitten by a shadow fiend and one of their party members being affected by a strong curse." laughed Hubert as he gazed at the floating screen which showed Antonio trying to snap out Luke from his paralysis.

"I will make you cry to your death, Dragon Knights. You all will witness my wrath once, I am done with the errands I need to perform.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and a guard in full plate armor came running towards Hubert. Bowing low, he saluted Hubert and waited for his instructions. Hubert snapped out of his nasty thoughts when his gaze fell on the guard who was patiently waiting for his orders.

"It's the correct time, reopen the entrance to the Mountains of Erlia, we will soon welcome our new guests with their deaths," ordered Hubert and the guard immediately left without uttering a single word.

Hector came inside the chamber of Hubert as soon as the guard left. He walked nearer to Hubert and bowed low. Hubert had summoned Hector for doing a task of great importance. He slowly explained Hector what he wanted him to do and Hector just nodded to everything Hubert said to him.

"You don't worry brother, I will give Antonio and his party the welcome they deserve," assured Hector and immediately left the chamber.

Mountains of Erlia, Kingdom of Kalvar,

"First Lucia and now, Luke. We are trapped inside this place as only Luke knew the way out." cursed Antonio as he carried Luke's pale body on his back.

"Fortunately, I successfully reactivated the barrier and we won't be attacked until we again walk ourselves into a trap," assured Leon.

"Guys, do anyone of us knows the way out of this place? We have twenty hours before Lucia and Luke will pass out," asked Jake.

"I heard from Luke that the place keeps changing its pathways in between an hour gap. If we are traveling from a total of three hours then, I am confirmed that the opening to the city of Altia should be open by the next hour," explained Antonio.

"So this means that, we just keep walking while carefully observing our steps and the surroundings," informed Leon.

After walking for another hour, Antonio, Luke, and Jake sat down on the hard ground and kept down the lifeless bodies of their friends, Luke and Lucia beside them. Antonio took a deep breath as he felt that the fresh air started to blow inside the dead tunnel. He looked for the source of the fresh air and found an opening inside the tunnel which was located a few yards away.

"I just saw a source of light coming from behind those rocks," informed Antonio while pointing a finger in the direction of the light.

"Is it the exit from this hell, or another trap?" questioned a confused Leon.

On the other hand, as soon as Jake heard those words from Antonio's mouth, he ran in the direction which Antonio pointed. He felt relieved and relaxed as he reached nearer to the source of light. Jake saw a small opening from which a normal person could easily pass through and safely reach the other side. But, his happiness didn't last long as he walked into another trap before even reaching the opening.

"Oh no, Not again. I warned him that this could be a trap. Our cover is blown, what should we do now?" squealed Leon.

"Leon, Look! Jake is safe, he neither fainted nor his body turned pale. Maybe, the opening is there. Let's go." exclaimed Antonio as he held onto Luke and started running.

"Wait! I am also going to escape from this place. I am also coming." cried Leon as he held Lucia's body and ran after Antonio.

The three of them reached the opening safely. But, the opening was too small to drag two bodies through it. Antonio started thinking and scanned his surroundings for anything that could be of help in this situation. After scanning the area for a while, Antonio's eyes fell on a giant figure who was laying on the ground not very far from them.

"I think, there is someone whom, we would use to dig a bigger hole and get out of this place," suggested Antonio.

"Let me take a look. What's there which you are pointing at," said Leon and stepped forward and looked at the figure.

"Are you out of your mind!? That's a rock giant. We would die for sure. If we were alone then we could even think of taking our chances but, with two heavily injured people, we cannot." argued Leon.

"Leon and Jake you both hold onto each one of the two bodies and I will persuade the giant into making a bigger hole. First you two escape and then I will also escape safely," explained Antonio and slowly walked towards the sleeping rock giant.

"This is suicide. If something goes bad, we are done for," warned Leon as he hid behind a boulder with Jake beside him.

Antonio immediately unsheathed his Falchion and lunged at the sleeping giant. He took out an agility potion from his inventory and drank all of it. The agility potion boosted his movement and attack speed. It could prove advantageous when fighting with an enemy having high defense and attack but low movement and attack speed.

As soon as the blade touched the rock hard body of the rock giant. It came to life and growled loudly which shook the whole mountain. Antonio ran in the direction of the opening and the Rock Giant also started running in the same direction. Antonio just stood frozen when he reached the opening and waited for the Giant to attack.

The Giant used a skill called [Rock Fist] which evolved the already hard fists of the Giant. Antonio ducked and slid in another direction when the fist was about to hit him. As planned, the Giant hit the opening and the boulders parted away growing the opening's size.

"Now, Do it Now!" signaled Antonio as he ran in the opposite direction dragging the attention of the Giant.

Leon and Luke immediately ran towards the opening and safely went out of the tunnel. Seeing this, Antonio persuaded the Giant to follow him and nearing the opening, he leaped off towards the exit and landed outside the tunnel whereas, the Giant got his head crashed into the boulder and the opening immediately closed.
