Animals are fictional, they have traits taken from real animals, but animals in this story are not real. Most fictonal animals will be listed like ones below but not all will be. For example in the next chapter there will be a bunny, it will be described as having circluar ears. No that is not a mistake, the animals in this story can be depicted anyway you want. So use your imagination!
Void Birds- Known for being completely black and absorbing all color and light, these birds seem to be a tear in the universe or a smear of blindness across your vision. They are very scarce, and the few people do see fly away quickly.
Swell Birds- In late fall these birds lose all feathers and grow fur. After this process they look closer to moles with spindly long arms that actual birds, the fur also increases size hence the name swell. They spend the cold seasons as a ground bird without the feathers they need to fly and build nests, they instead make burrows under the roots of trees.
Charale Birds- You could describe these birds as many things such as bratty, gossipy, arrogant, and nosy but in the end, they sing like a siren. These birds have boring brown feathers with shimmering golden feathers as crowns and capes. Their chatty tongues are the color of gold and change the tones of their song notes.
Finherbal Birds- Half fish/half bird, finherbal birds have scales across their chests and gills. They are commonly found in fresh water or close to deltas. They live above water in wetland nests. Their cries sound like tummy gurgles.
Debu Birds- (Nickname: Painters Assistant birds) Similar to waxwing birds, instead these birds have dark brown breasts with colorful crowns and feather tips. Name taken from the word debutant, due to the fact the bird looks like a lady dressed for a ball.
Speckle Fish- Each scale is a different color; they grow up to 2 feet with skinny tube like bodies. Their spine is located in the middle of their bodies attaching to their mouth and tail.
