My first kiss.
I have always imagined it. I have always imagined how it would be, where it would be and more importantly with whom it would be. But I didn't really know if it would be with a girl or a boy. I never felt the need to question my sexuality before as I never done anything and when I said 'anything', I meant any sexual thing.
But I never imagined that it would be with someone like Cloud.
I barely knew him but here I was already kissing him at some party. One thing for sure, he was very talented. The way he was kissing me told me that it wasn't his first time kissing someone. But it didn't surprise me.
It was Cloud, we were talking about. Of course, it wouldn't be his first time kissing someone. Cloud was stunning and to add to that, his mystery side made him more attractive.
But never mind, it wasn't important at the moment if it was his first time kissing someone or not. What was important was that he was kissing me and I had absolutely no idea about what to do.
This sudden kiss took me by surprise. I never thought that he was going to kiss me and Emma as well was in the same state of surprise as I was, as a gasp escaped her lips as Cloud started to kiss me.
Cloud's strong arms wrapped around my waist pulling me closer to his body. Not knowing what to do, timidly I put my arms around his neck. Slowly one of his hand went up my body to come in my hair. He gladly pulled on it which made a moan escaped my lips.
Cloud pulled on my hair once again but this time a little bit stronger than before and it made my mouth opened slightly but it was enough for him as his tongue immediately entered my mouth.
His tongue played with mine as both of his hand went down my body and cupped my butt. Another moan escaped my mouth at his actions. My whole body felt like it was on fire. I never felt something like that in my entire life.
I felt so small in Cloud's arms but I never felt so safe. It was a bit weird. I didn't know him, I didn't know the real him. A part of me was afraid of him, afraid of what the truth might be but another part of me felt so safe in his presence.
Finally, Cloud and I pulled apart and I immediately tried to catch my breath. Cloud looked at me in the eyes before he cupped my cheeks with his warm hands and smiled at me. He then rubbed our nose together.
"You are really adorable, Luffy," he whispered and I was sure that my face became completely red. Before I got the chance to respond, I heard someone cleared his throat and I immediately remembered that we weren't alone.
Turning my head to the side, I saw an angry Emma standing with her face completely red from rage and her eyes snapping fire. At first, I thought that she was angry with me but then I noticed that her eyes were not on me but on Cloud. Emma took one deep breath before starting to walk towards the latter.
I opened my mouth to tell her to calm down but before I got the chance to pronounce one word, Emma raised her hand and slapped Cloud hard across the face and his head snapped to the side.
"You are a worthless piece of shit," she told Cloud angrily, "You think that because people are afraid of you, you have the right to manipulate them as you wish. But big news Cloud, that's not the case. You are not the king of anything and certainly not of anyone. You are just a-"
"Emma, stop it immediately," I shouted at her, cutting her off and she looked at me with wide eyes at my sudden outburst.
"Luffy, I don't think that you are in the right mind to talk," she told me before she focused her attention back to Cloud, ready to finish her 'speech' but when she opened her mouth to talk, no word came out.
I looked at her, wondering what was happening to her but then I looked at Cloud to see that he was staring at Emma, a dark expression on his face. It suddenly felt cold in the room but nobody around us seemed to notice what was happening there. Maybe they were just too wasted to see what was happening.
Cloud surprised both Emma and I when he smirked but not one of his usual smirks. This one was a bit more dark and cold, I didn't know how to describe it but I was sure that it didn't mean anything good for Emma.
"Would you look at that? It seemed that the little Emma got wings," Cloud said as he started to play with Emma's hair.
She looked completely terrified now. She was no longer confident in herself. It was like she was in the presence of the devil himself. I wanted to help her but I couldn't find myself to move or to say one word.
"Emma," Cloud continued, "I don't know why but I have always hated you. Maybe that's because you are a little bitch who thinks she can do or say whatever she wants. Now the only sight of your face, made me want to rip your head off. And trust me when I say that when I start to get murderous thoughts, it gets really bad."
With trembling hands, Emma took the hand of Cloud which was playing with her hair and pushed it away. She swallowed hard.
"I'm not afraid of you," she said and Cloud laughed.
"I would like to differ, little Emma," he said before asking, "Do you love your boyfriend?"
"What?" Emma asked, confused his words.
"I asked you if you love your boyfriend?" Cloud repeated.
"Of course, I love him," Emma replied, "But what does he have to do with this conversation?"
"I just wanted to know if you love him and it's clear to me that you don't," Cloud replied with a sigh.
"What are you talking about? I love Nicolas," Emma shouted and Cloud shook his head slowly.
"Emma, not only are you a slut but you are also a big fat liar," Cloud said and Emma opened her mouth to protest but he cut her off, "If you so much love your boyfriend as you said then why did you fuck with someone else while you were with him?"
My eyes widened at Cloud's words and I looked at Emma whose eyes were nearly out of their orbit. Cloud smirked at her face. She tried to compose her face but was failing miserably.
"I don't know what you are talking about," she said but it was clear that she was lying.
"Oh, you don't remember. Then maybe I should call Cale. I'm sure that he will remember you. Remember fucking you, I mean," Cloud said innocently and Emma gasped.
"I'm not going to stand here and listen to you talking nonsense," she said and she tried to pass by Cloud but he took her by her arm, a bit too harsh as Emma yelled in pain but Cloud didn't let go of her.
"Cloud, stop it. You are hurting her," I shouted at him but he ignored me completely.
"Listen to me clearly, Emma," Cloud told Emma, putting a little more pressure on her arm and she cried in pain, "You are going to regret talking to me like you did. I'm going to make your life completely miserable, so much that you are going to regret that you were ever born. Oh, and try to make his night, the best that you can with your 'boyfriend' as trust me, it will be the last one, you will ever get with him."
With that said, Cloud let go of Emma's arm who immediately backed away from him. She looked at her arm where there was now a bruise where Cloud's hand was. I saw the tears forming in her eyes but before I could tell her something, she ran away. I started to run after her but Cloud took my hand to stop me.
"Luffy, don't," he said.
"Let go of me, Cloud," I snapped at him but he wouldn't budge, "You had gone too far. Now, let go of me immediately."
"She searched it," he said and I looked at him in disbelief.
"But it wasn't a reason to treat her the way you did. What you said to you was cruel and completely inhuman," I said and Cloud immediately released my hand.
I didn't give him another glance and ran after Emma. It seemed like the number of people that were here, has been multiplied. There were more people than before. Finally, in this crowd of people, I saw Emma and I sighed in relief before going after her.
"Emma," I shouted and she stopped walking and turned around to look at me. Her eyes were red and her cheeks were wet which meant that she was crying.
"What do you want?" She asked me harshly as I arrived in front of her. To tell the truth, I was a bit taken back by her tone of voice.
"I just wanted to know if you were alright. Are you?" I asked her hesitantly and she glared at me.
"How do you think I'm feeling, right now?" She asked but she didn't give me time to respond, "Cloud has completely humiliated me but you didn't do anything to stop him. You did the complete opposite. He hurt me but you didn't say anything. And you dare say that you are my friend."
"Emma, I'm your friend-" I started but she cut me off.
"Don't finish that sentence, Luffy," she yelled at me and a few people passing by looked at us, "Look, I don't know what Cloud told you, what he did to you but I think that you should stop talking to him. Because he has a bad influence on you. This isn't you and I seriously don't want to deal with this you, right now."
I was completely taken back at her words and I didn't stop her as she walked away. I stood alone in the middle of the room, trying to understand what just happened before I started to walk randomly to get out of this house. I didn't want to be in a room full of people right now.
After some minutes of walking, I finally got out of the house to arrive in the backyard. There was no one outside so I sighed in relief and went to sit on the grass. I felt a cold breeze on my skin as soon as I was sat down.
I stayed like this and thought about everything that happened tonight. Maybe Emma was right. It wasn't me. I wasn't the type of person who would let her friend down without doing anything but again, what did Emma know about me? I have been here for about least than a month.
So how could she say that she knew me?
It was too much.
Everything was just too much for me.
Suddenly, I heard someone approaching behind me but I didn't turn back to see who it was. I already knew who it was or maybe, who he was.
"You shouldn't stay outside, it's cold," Cloud said, sitting beside me on the grass. I didn't reply anything, I just continued to stare in front of me, not giving him one glance. He sighed.
"Listen, Luffy," he started, "I know that you are angry. I understand."
"I don't think that you do," I said at last, "You don't seem sorry for what you said."
"Because I don't," he said and I looked at him, "If I had to feel sorry for everything bad that I did in my life, I wouldn't be able to take it."
"You told her that you wanted to rip her head off, Cloud," I told him, "It's not normal to say that to someone. It's cruel and heartless."
"I know," he said, "It's me, Luffy. It's a part of me that I can't change."
"Then I wished, I never knew this side of you," I said before laying on the grass and stared at the night sky.
I closed my eyes but then I felt a hand on my cheek. I didn't open my eyes as I felt Cloud's hand caressing my cheek. Then his hand was removed to be replaced with his lips. I became nervous at that but I tried my best to not show it.
Slowly Cloud's lips moved closer to my mouth till they were fully on mine. But despite the sudden huge I got to kiss him back, I didn't and soon his lips left mine. I felt his stare on me before I heard him sigh and he laid beside me.
"Why did you kiss me?" I asked Cloud hesitantly, still not looking at him. There was no way, I could look at him after having asked that. He chuckled at me quickly.
"The answer is simple," he replied and I looked at him, "It's because I wanted to."
I didn't expect this answer and I found myself blushing at his words. I quickly looked away as I cleared my throat awkwardly. Cloud laughed and came closer to me which made me blushed even more.
"There is also another answer to that question," Cloud added near my ear, seductively, "You are really innocent, Luffy and I will gladly take you."
Alright, if I wasn't blushing enough before, now I was sure that I was completely red. Cloud laughed again at my face and I pushed him on the shoulder. He was embarrassing me on purpose.
"Don't say things like that, Cloud," I scolded him.
"Why?" He asked playfully, "Are you embarrassed when I say sexual things to you?"
"No," I replied but I was lying obviously.
"Oh, Luffy," Cloud told me, "You don't have to be embarrassed with me and besides, it's true. I will love to take you in many different positions."
"Okay, I think we should stop talking about that now," I said, blushing and Cloud laughed again.
"You are adorable," he said.
"Stop saying that. I'm a man," I said.
"Yes, you are. An adorable man," he said and I groaned.
It felt silent after that but then I remembered what has happened tonight and I turned to the side to look at Cloud.
"Cloud, who is Amelia?" I asked Cloud and his face immediately darkened.
"No, Luffy. It's better if you don't know," he said.
"I think, I'm in the right to know, Cloud," I said, "What did she do to me?"
"Luffy, sometimes it's better to stay in the dark as the truth is sometimes more horrible that you think," he told me as he stood up and I took his hand to stop him.
"Please, tell me. I want to know," I said and he looked at me, "I just want to know the truth. At least, you could tell me what is happening."
Cloud stared at me for some seconds before he sighed and sat down again next to me. He examined my face and then he surprised me when he took me into his arms. Slowly I wrapped my arms around him and we stayed like this in silence.
"Alright," Cloud said finally, his arms still around me, "I'm going to tell you everything you need to know about Amelia. But promise me that you won't freak out."
"Why?" I asked.
"I already told you. Sometimes the truth is more horrible that you may think," he replied.
"Okay, I won't freak out," I said as we pulled apart and he nodded.
"Alright, let's begin then," Cloud said.
