They had been getting the letters for years, and the latest letter was the creepiest of all.

It had the words, "All your troubles will be ended by tomorrow," with a drawing of a face smiling on it.

When they showed it to their boyfriend, he just laughed. 

He said they were being too paranoid.

They hadn't agreed, but they had gone to bed anyways. 

When they woke up, their boyfriend was gone.
