A week after my birthday tea party, my Mother started to make me take lessons. What lessons do you ask? Why etiquette, fencing, math, and literature( reading, writing, calligraphy. )I think I have a secret talent for calligraphy! Off topic? A little, but hey! It's still pretty cool.
I wouldn't say I hate the lessons, per say, but I don't love'em.
Right now, I'm In the library with my tutor. He manages all of my lessons, even fencing, I have yet to learn his name. I keep on pressing the matter, but he just brushes It off. So annoying!
There Is something else I noticed, I was the latest of all my siblings to have started lessons, since they started their lessons the minute they could walk. Which I deem unfair!
I would go ahead and say," how dare they! I will totally prove them wrong! I will waste my whole life trying to prove to them that I'm better!," yea I would never do that. I'm wa-y too lazy and dumb to do shit like that. Plus I'm pretty sure the god of procrastination has condemned me to hell, or something like that.
"Ahem, ahem. Are you paying attention, young lord?" Teach(er) said, side-eying me.
"Yes...um, what was your name again?" Haha, I'm so~ smooth. He will trip up and tell me his name!
"Young lord, your book Is upside down. I suggest you start paying attention to your lessons, so you can catch up with your brothers." He said fixing his monocle.
"But..but, It's so boring! And this book Is way too hard for a baby like me!" I said pouting.
He then dropped three very thick books on the desk In front of me.
"This Is your homework for the week. It Is due the upcoming Paraskeví. I recommend starting right away, I will be asking for a summary of each one.
I swear this dude Is out to get me! How the hell am I supposed to read all of this by Friday?! It's total overkill!
"Hmph! Fine. I will do It." I said begrudgingly
"Good to see my lord." He said with a stupid, dumb smirk on his face and eyes full of contempt.
Oh, how I wanted to poke his eyes out! Just out spite, I'll give you half-assed summaries on those stupid books! Ha ha ha! We'll see how you'll like that, you stupid perfectionist!
I silently chuckled to myself. I must've looked crazy.
"Young lord, time Is of the essence. You need rest early, because you'll need to wake up early as well, for fencing practice." He said slowly walking away.
What Is up with this dude? He just up and leaves. Where does he even stay? So many questions! And I have zero answers! How frustrating.
