small blood warning
The night is all well and peaceful, but not everyone is peaceful, inside a den there was Squiggle and a small cat beside her, Lazy. Squiggle twisted and turned, fire surrounded her, screaming can be heard, but there was one thing out of order a StarClan cat stood quiet and still, not moving a muscle.
Squiggle’s eyes stared wide as she took in the destruction around her.
“What...what happened?” Her voice was shakey and her despair turned to anger directed at the only living thing around. “What happened?” She roared at the glowing cat. But they didn’t speak but stared at a lifeless body in the distance.
What is that?” Squiggle hissed, hesitant to come closer to the torn body.
“Who is that?” She demanded to know.
“Love” was the only word the cat said. Their voice echoed.
Squiggle spat black venom in disgust as she cautiously moved closer.
What kind of sick, twisted, form of love was....this. She thought with a hiss insider her voice.
The creature came to a sudden stop as the details of the body cake into view. The blue-green pelt, the soft, feathery wings. It couldn’t be.
Rage then pumped through her veins.
“MURDERER!” She snarled and whirled on the Starclan cat, talons raised to strike it down. Before her claws made contact though, the specter was gone.
In its place a stood a crystal mirror. Squiggle’s reflection stared back at her. Blood dripped from her fangs and raised claws as the reflection looked back with wild eyes.
”Yes.” The reflection hissed back.
”Murderer.”
The dream flashed away as Lazy pushed Squiggle awake “wake up!” The beast bolted upright, panting, sweat dripping down her snout from the dream, she panted from fear.
Lazy looked up in fear “squiggle?”
”Hah? Ah, yeah,” the creature cleared her throat and slowed her breathing.
“Sorry.”
Lazy sat and turned to look at the moon “there’s something important to tell you”
Squiggle turned her full attention to the she-cat. “What is it?”
Lazy hesitated for a bit, but spoke quietly “I’m expecting kits”
