Since I was a little kid, I have always been told by my father that lying was a bad thing and that I should never lie to people. I should always tell the truth no matter what. I believed him at that moment. I always believed everything that he said. But as years passed I discovered that the truth could hurt many people and that sometimes, it was better to lie.
But in the end, though, the truth is always learned one way or another. And the consequences that followed hurt more. That was why I avoided lying to people. I just couldn't. And I didn't like when people lied to me. Why lie when you could simply tell the truth? Wouldn't it be better? Or would it be worst? I didn't know. But the truth hurt and that I was sure of it.
The truth was horrible in a certain way and I knew exactly what I was talking about. I felt like I was reliving every little thing that arrived at the party. Every little amount of pain that I received that night were refacing. Every word said and every action made were fresh in my mind, like if it was yesterday.
I regained my lost memory and discovered things that I never thought could exist. And now according to Vins, I would see everything with my eyes now. Nothing would be hidden to me and it was terrifying. I still haven't seen something yet but I already knew that it wouldn't be good. But I still wanted to know and I was going to know.
"Here's a new pair of glasses, Luffy," the nurse of the infirmary of the school told me as she gave me one pair of rounded glasses. They weren't exactly like the one I used to have but I guessed it would work for now.
"Thank you," I thanked her as I took the glasses from her but I didn't put them on immediately. I wanted to savor this moment a little bit longer.
I was seeing.
For the first time in my life, I was seeing without my glasses and clearly. Before when I removed them, my vision was blurry and I couldn't see clearly everything around me. That was why I only removed them in places where I knew where everything were. Like when I was taking a shower. I knew my bathroom by heart. But now I could see and that meant that I didn't need my glasses anymore.
But I knew that I couldn't do that. I needed to wear them. If Vins were telling the truth, I would see everything now and I didn't want to walk around the high school and saw things that I didn't see before. And if they were all like Emma or Amelia I would surely die of a heart attack.
I have been wondering thought. Emma wasn't human. It was a bit funny considering that she had been insulting Cloud of not being human without even knowing that she wasn't fully human herself. Things were sometimes ironic. And who knew how many of people around here weren't human? I wasn't ready to see all of this. I needed explanations first so that I could understand things better.
I put the glasses on just as the nurse came back with a glass of water for me. I thanked her before taking the glass from her. It was a bit uncomfortable for me to have another pair of glasses on. Mine were normally square glasses while these were rounded glasses. Personally, I didn't like rounded glasses. I found them too horrible to wear.
"What time is it?" I asked the nurse before taking a few gulps of my water.
"School is nearly over," the nurse informed and my eyes widened slightly.
"Already," I said in disbelief and she nodded.
"You slept nearly the whole day," she informed me.
"Nobody searched for me?" I asked her and she shook her, "And you didn't call my parents to inform them?"
"No, I didn't and it's kind of weird," she said with a confused look, "Mr Vins told me not to inform anyone that you were here and I just agreed with him without any protestations which is really not my type."
"He is really convincing," I told her and she nodded slowly.
I guessed I wasn't the only one that found that this guy was really weird. I finished my glass of water just as the bell rang, signaling that school was over for today. I got up from my seat, that I was sitting on since I woke up here, and took my books which were on a table beside me. I told the nurse goodbye and got out of the infirmary.
What I needed to do now I didn't know. I guessed that I would just return home and tried to make everything clear in my head before deciding what to do and maybe asked Frederick why he didn't tell me anything. He lied to me too. It wasn't like him. One thing I was sure about was that Frederick wasn't a liar.
The corridors were already full with teenagers hurrying to get home when I got out. I walked in the direction of my locker, my mind buzzing with different thoughts. I had an horrible headache and I was doing anything to not fall down. I felt like my head was spinning and ready to explode with all of my thinking.
I was nearly at my locker when I saw a group of familiar people in front of it. They were all there arguing in front of my locker. Cloud, Rain, Cale and Calum as well as Frederick who looked really angry. He was shouting and everyone passing by were looking at him. I sighed before I started to walk towards them and Cale was the first one to see me.
"Luffy!" he exclaimed. He looked relief to see me and everyone turned to look at me.
"Where the hell were you?" Frederick shouted at me, "We have been searching for you everywhere, Luffy. I thought that you were kidnapped."
"I'm here now so stop shouting," I told him putting one hand on my head. It looked like my headache was amplifying.
"Where were you?" Rain asked me again.
"In the infirmary," I replied not feeling really well right now.
"Didn't you say that Luffy wasn't in the infirmary?" Cloud asked Calum who looked lost.
"He wasn't. I swear I looked everywhere in the room," Calum said and Frederick gave him an angry look.
"Not well enough it seemed," Frederick told him.
"But he wasn't there," Calum protested again.
"Luffy, are you alright?" Cloud asked looking at me and I shook my head slightly.
My books fell down from my hand as I grabbed my head with both hands. My world looked like it was spinning and I felt like vomitting. I never got a headache like that in my life. I massaged my temple hoping that it would feel better but it didn't. It was the opposite, I felt like it was getting worst.
"Luffy," Cloud said worriedly raising his hand to touch me but I stepped back.
"Don't touch me," I told him angrily, "You lied to me. All of you are a bunch of liars."
"What are you talking about?" Frederick asked me and I shook my head. Was it even possible for my head to hurt like that?
"I think I'm going to...I'm going to...."
I didn't finish my sentences as I fell down and everything became black around me.

Have you ever felt like you were trapped in your own body?
Because I was feeling exactly like that right now.
I wanted to move to wake up but I couldn't. I tried to just open my eyes but I still couldn't. It was like I didn't have any control over my body. Yet I could feel everything around me. I could hear voices but I couldn't distinguish who was talking and what they were saying. Whoever these persons were, thought, I knew that they were near.
I could feel them moving around and talking but I still couldn't move. I couldn't see anything even. Just darkness. It was like I was standing in nothingness. But I wasn't alone here. There was someone else with me. Someone who was hiding in the dark. This person didn't want to show itself. But his eyes were on me.
This place looked like the place that I was with Vins but at the same time, it was different. This place was darker if it was even possible. How could darkness be darker than darkness? I was in this place but I wasn't there completely. It was like only my mind was there but not my body.
"Look at you so lost and confused," I heard a familiar voice said loud and clear. I looked everywhere around me but I didn't see anyone. It was like the voice was everywhere at the same time. A bit of an echo.
"Who are you?" I asked out loud and I heard an evil sneer.
"I'm whatever you want to call me," the voice replied before laughing again. This voice was extremely familiar. I just couldn't tell who it was.
"Who are you?" I asked again, turning around. I felt someone touched me from behind but when I looked back, there was no one.
"My name is Luffy," the voice replied finally.
"You are lying," I said as I continued to look around, "I'm Luffy. You, who are you?"
"I'm Luffy," the voice repeated before laughing again. "Maybe you want me to show myself. Do you?"
"Yes," I replied immediately.
"Then look back," the voice said and I immediately did but who I saw wasn't who I expected.
"No, it..it can't be," I stuttered looking in front of me in disbelief.
Myself.
I was looking at myself. But at the same time, it wasn't exactly me. We had the same hair, the same face and the same voice. That was why the voice sounded so familiar. It was my voice. But I had something different from him and it was the eyes. While mine were green, his were black.
"It's so good to have you here," the other me said still smiling and I gulped.
"What is here?" I asked him and he chuckled.
"You don't recognize the place," he replied, "We are in your head, Luffy. In your mind."
"So I'm dreaming," I said.
"No, this is pure reality," the other me informed me, putting his hands behind his back, "This place is where I live. It is the part of you that is occupied by me. Where I am imprisoned since forever or at least, it seemed like forever to me."
"What are you talking about?" I asked him and he smirked.
"This is my prison, Luffy. I have been trapped in your body since you were a baby," he replied, stretching his back.
"I think I would have known if there was somebody else living inside of me," I told him and he giggled.
"It was because I was weak and I couldn't show my presence to you," he explained, "There was a seal put on you preventing me from being free but now the seal is broken and here I am."
"What? A seal? What are you talking about?" I asked. This thing was so confusing.
"My seal was broken. Cloud helped a little bit as well as Vins," he answered, walking around me, "The memory that you newly regained was trapped by a seal too. By trying to make you forget certain things, Cloud had to put a seal to prevent the memory from getting back and when Vins broke the seal so that you can regained these memories, he accidentally broke mine as well."
"So it was already planned," I said and he shook his head.
"No, they both didn't know anything. The people who know about me being inside of you are very few," he said.
"Why are you telling me that?" I asked.
"Because you need to know," he replied like it was obvious, "I am regaining my powers. It's only a matter of time before I become powerful again and finally free."
"Didn't you just say that you were free?" I questioned.
"I am free from the seal but I am not completely free. I still trap in your body unable to do anything at all, unable to act, to talk and do everything that you do. I'm just here thinking and looking at you. But it will change soon," he said.
"What do you mean?" I asked him and he smirked before disappearing from my sight. I looked around, searching for him and I found him behind me.
"We are two souls living in one body, Luffy," he started, "You have the full control of the body while me, I'm in the dark unable to do anything. Right now, you are stronger than me which mean I can't do anything. But when I will regain my powers, I will overcome you and take your place while you will take mine. And this place will be your new home."
"No!" I shouted, "I won't let you do this."
"You can't do anything about it," he said, "You are just human and the seal was the only thing protecting you from me."
"Then who are you truly?" I asked him again and he sighed.
"I'm Luffy. I'm you," he replied, "I was here before you even existed. I was powerful. I was fear by everyone. Nobody could stop me or kill me, my powers were too strong. But one day I was betrayed by someone very dear to me but instead of killing me, he created other versions of me where my powers were divided. Four new version of myself and you are one of them."
"You are lying," I told him.
"I'm not," he denied, "Each vision of me received part of my power, making me, the original, weak and more easy to get rid of. But I still couldn't be killed even in my weak state, so I was imprisoned. But I couldn't get a simple ordinary prison. No, I was trapped in your body and the seal was then made."
"But how can it be?" I asked no one in particular. This couldn't be true. I must surely be dreaming. What he was saying wasn't true. It simply couldn't be.
"You can continue to deny it but you will find soon enough that I'm telling the truth," he informed me.
"If you want to take control of my body, why are you telling me all of this?" I asked him in disbelief, "Will it not be more safe for you if you don't?"
"I'm not afraid of you," he said, "You can't do anything to stop me. Unlike the other versions of me, you are the weaker. You are the one who received no power. You received something else from me. Something that makes you weak."
"What is it?" I asked him.
"My humanity," he replied and just then I fell something pulling me back. It was like something was pulling me back to my body but I still couldn't go away from here. "Goodbye, Luffy," the other me said before disappearing.
The thing pulling me began to pull stronger and soon I felt myself being pulled away.

My eyes snapped open while I jumped. I looked around and saw that I was in my living room and all of the guys were here.
"Luffy," Frederick said, coming to stand by me, on the couch that I was laying on. "Are you alright?"
"I don't know," I replied hesitantly. After all, I just had a conversation with myself inside of my head. But was it really me?
"Luffy, what happened?" Cloud asked me and I looked at him.
"I don't know," I replied again.
"Well that's something," Cale commented.
"Shut up, Cale," Calum told him.
"Do you want something to drink?" Frederick asked me, "You have been unconscious for about one hour now."
"I don't want anything to drink," I told Frederick, "I want the truth and now."
"But what are-" Frederick started but I cut him off.
"Stop acting like you don't know, Fred," I shouted at him, standing up from the couch, "You have been lying to me. Everyone in this room has been lying to me. But now I want the the truth and immediately."
"Luffy, you don't understand," Rain said and I looked at him in disbelief.
"I'm not understanding because you are not explaining it to me," I shouted at them, "I want to know everything. What are you all? What is happening? And Cloud, I have completely enough of your secrets and I want to know them here and now!"
Everyone seemed shock by my sudden outburst and to tell the truth, I was a bit shock too. I guessed meeting myself wasn't doing me any good. I looked at every one of them till my eyes arrived at Cloud who seemed to have made up his mind.
"Alright," Cloud said at last, "I'm going to tell you everything."
